As the presidential election is now within sight, I chose some of my favorite photographs of Mitt and Ann Romney to share below. I hope you enjoy them as well. In about eight days, “President-elect Romney” will retire “Governor Romney” as the formal title until the third week of January 2013. Lest you think I am too presumptuous, I wish to assure you that none of us will be letting up in our grassroots work until we have surety. All of us will be working harder in the next eight days than we have ever worked in this important endeavor. Nothing is guaranteed. If you have not yet read Ryan Hawkins’ excellent post from yesterday, please take a moment to answer the call to close strong: CALLING ON ALL ROMNEY SUPPORTERS. We will never take anything for granted!

That speech President-elect Obama made following his 2008 election victory was most inspiring to me. It really was. I have to tell you that I was as proud that night as an American as I had ever been in my life to witness our nation coming together to freely elect an African American to our nation’s highest office. I am still proud of the fact we did that! In so many ways, peoples of others nations were truly stunned – I remember reading the interviews of many. The people of the United States of America are great!

I did not vote for Barack Obama in the 2008 election. Race had nothing to do with my decision. To be completely candid, I probably take a rather simplistic approach to my choice for president each election. When weighting various attributes and skill-sets, I place extraordinary emphasis on successful leadership experience. After assessing Barack Obama’s career, I saw very shallow leadership experience, and when combining that fact with his many “present” votes of indecision as a U.S. senator, the decision to vote for McCain was a clear and easy one indeed. There is no question in my mind a large percentage of the American electorate voted for Mr. Obama based solely on the fact he was African American. I have met these voters and read about many others. In fact, I believe Colin Powell is one of these.

History I believe will judge President Obama to be one of the worst presidents in all of American history; certainly the worst in the modern era. Of this I have no doubt. 20, 30, 50 years out, he will be judged on the larger issues of his inability and unwillingness to work in a bi-partisan manner. He will be judged for receiving zero votes from both houses of congress for his budget proposal and for running up obscene, trillion dollar deficits each year with no restraint whatsoever. He will be judged incompetent for raising the expectations of all Americans with lofty promise after lofty promise while blaming others for failure at every turn. I think he will be judged by historians as lazy by in large and as a man with no real passion for the job. Finally, he will be judged much harsher than Mssrs. Johnson and Nixon for his obvious dishonesty with the American public for his intentional evasion of scrutiny of the Benghazi assassinations and subsequent cover-up that continues to this day.

Much has been said of the contrast between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. From my perspective, these two men are polar opposites in just about every aspect of their careers, character, policies, lives, and work ethic. While Barack Obama entered the presidency as one of the most unprepared men to ever take the office, Mitt Romney will be one of the most prepared leaders in the history of the republic to receive the mantle of president.
Though I do not know Mitt Romney personally, I know many who know him well. In the last seven years, I have read just about everything ever written by the man or about him. His leadership talent and reputation for inspiring others to greatness is legendary. His style of leadership is that of the servant leader. It is born of humility and an intense gratitude that emanates from an enduring knowledge that the privilege of receiving authority over others is a blessing from God that is to be exercised with care and wisdom.

The challenges facing the United States of America today are greater than any I can remember in my lifetime. No other person is more prepared and more qualified to face those challenges head on that Mitt Romney. Of this, I have no doubt.

Below are two of Mitt Romney’s latest ads, mostly broadcast in swing states. There is no doubt about the battle ahead: Mitt Romney, principles, integrity and freedom vs Barack Obama, the mainstream media, Labor Unions, lies (say and do whatever it takes to retain power), dependency and debt. The lines are drawn and America will have a clear choice. Even so, Obama and his cronies will conform their message with guile and duplicity to try and purchase our society. The agendas are clear, and so must be the message. Obama will shade his message to appeal to all with a “flaxen cord” approach trying to reel us in before binding us in untenable chains of debt and subordination. Romney will deliver a message of reason, rationale and hope for restoring what made America great and exceptional; a strong and free economy; a strong and free America that defends freedom around the world. Romney will also have to call Obama out for his lies and those of the media. The cause is freedom and it is worth the fight!
The messaging of these two ads are indicative of some of what we will see in the future. You have to ask the question, how do you feel when viewing the ads?
Further, the upcoming debates will have a profound affect on the hearts and minds of American’s. Our prayers should be with Governor and Mrs. Romney, and Paul Ryan and their advisors, that they might be endowed with discernment in knowing how to communicate their messages of light and truth that will resonate with American’s and the world, and further how to expose the lies and deceit of those who seek to flatter America to its demise.
Today America suffered a great loss following a day of sacred remembrance! Most critically, we suffered the tragic loss of life in Libya, and we mourn with those who lost their loved ones, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three of his staff. We offer our condolences and prayers for solace to the family members of those who have suffered this difficult loss. Today America mourns!
Yesterday’s remembrance and today’s tragedy are reminders that we are in the midst of significant turmoil, tumult and commotion in the world. Even so, it is difficult to measure the anger and outrage so many feel when our freedoms and principles are threatened, and lives are lost by radical Islamic thuggery. The disrespect and irrationality of these immoral thugs is difficult to fathom and comprehend, especially when as Americans we value and treasure life and human dignity so significantly. Needless to say, this is a difficult time for the world, and for America. I am grateful for who we are and what we stand for - now if we just had a leader in our President that stood resolute for these same principles.
After waking to the headlines this morning and seeking for some measure and understanding, I reflected back to Condi Rice’s recent speech at the Republican Convention in Tampa. Therein she speaks of leadership and a wanting definition of where America stands. She further speaks of the global turmoil and challenges we have and continue to face, and the critical need for wisdom and leadership on the global stage. She points out that if America doesn’t lead, someone else will. Today we have witnessed the consequences of absent leadership in Washington. The Arab Spring, as noted by Governor Romney is turning into the Arab Winter.
Therefore, I simply ask the question, ‘Where is our President?‘ At a time that demands great leadership in our nation and on the world stage, Mr. Obama is absent! At a time when our outrage and condemnation should be expressed in no uncertain terms, Mr. Obama and the State Department gave utterance to understanding the radical Islamic outrage over derisive comments against Mohammed. Clearly they indicated that such isn’t an excuse, but to give utterance to offense is not leadership, it is capitulation. At a time when our friend and ally in the Middle East, Israel, is under serious threat and their Prime Minister seeks an audience with our President, he is too busy to meet and is unwilling to make it the needed priority it is! And yet, Mr. Obama has time to visit with David Letterman in lieu of the Prime Minister; he has time to campaign in Nevada and Colorado on the very day we have suffered such a great loss in Libya; where are you Mr. President? And, do you really care about what matters? Or, are you too interested in the power, the prestige and the celebrity of the Presidency and your re-election? Click here to continue reading →
Mitt Romney will not raise taxes on the middle class, nor will he lower the tax contributions of the most wealthy!
Today, David Gregory interviewed Mitt and Ann Romney on Meet the Press (see the full interview below). This is the first time in the history of Meet the Press that the wife of a a Presidential Candidate was also interviewed. And in spite of Gregory’s continued public pursuit of an agenda seemingly shaped by the disbelieving and jaundiced left, both Mitt and Ann Romney revealed their true character, charm, capacity and competence!
It is apparent that the media seems to struggle with the Romney’s constancy amid the situational standards of our society - the anomalous Romney’s live and serve by constants and principles of integrity and truth with a sincere and tangible sense of duty. They do not succumb to the typical political pandering and posturing we see in many of today’s politicians. It is human nature to project on others what we see in ourselves, hence the media’s challenge with Mitt and Ann Romney. What the media tries to project on Mitt and Ann is wholly inconsistent with who Mitt and Ann are. We get a sense that the media is so blinded by the beams in their own eyes that they struggle to see the sincere strength and resolute nature of Mitt and Ann Romney, and their foundations for dutiful service; they are truly committed to a cause greater than self. Mitt stated such in his interview - it is about serving the nation, fixing our economy and restoring foundational principles of freedom and liberty! No more, no less.
Ann expressed how life’s experiences are tutorial in shaping our capacity to empathize with those in need, and to the surprise of the interviewer it had nothing to do with our station in life. As a cancer survivor I get it! Ann Romney, and Mitt by virtue of shared experiences with Ann, clearly understand the suffering of others and how to succor and serve those in need. Further, after the Republican Convention in Tampa and the tender expressions of so many touched by Mitt and Ann Romney, the story of unpurchased service by the Romney’s should no longer be challenged, but elevated as an example for all to follow. Bill Bennett said it best today after the Meet the Press interview; paraphrased, conservatives are more charitable and more giving, they are more willing to offer selfless compassionate service than their liberal counterparts. If anyone wants to consider the point, look to the charitable service and contributions of the Romney’s compared to that of the Obama’s and Biden’s combined. The liberals seem to want to be far more generous with the taxpayer’s money (our money) than their own.
Mr. Gregory then began to press Governor Romney on his economic recovery/jobs plan, seeking for greater granularity. I find it fascinating that when Mitt Romney put a 59 point plan together the media was cynical; when he distilled it down to a more simple five point plan, they demanded more specifics. It is clear that the media is lacking in its capacity to understand, or they just have a specific agenda as the PR machine for the sitting President.
The message came through loud and clear from Mitt Romney today, as it was repeated no less than three times - Mitt Romney will not raise taxes on the middle class, nor will he lower the tax contributions of the most wealthy! Among other things, Mitt went on to juxtapose his foreign policy agenda against Obama’s biggest foreign policy failure, a nuclear Iran.
What I find of interest is a want from the media for Mitt Romney to be granular in his plans without a similar press to Obama, who has yet to present a credible budget in 4 years, or a plan to fix our economy, and he is the President of the United States! What I do know is that I can look to Mitt Romney’s track record and history and know that he will govern and execute a plan based upon principles and pragmatism. He has done it innumerable times and will apply the same disciplines as President. His past is prologue which is equally said for Obama. Only in Mitt Romney’s case his past successes are prologue for future successes, and Obama’s past failures are prologue for future failures.
Barack Obama’s principal agenda for America has been anything but transparent; he would profess transparency and has stated such, however if we delve into the details, Barack Obama has hidden his real intent from America. The underpinnings of the man, his philosophies and ideologies are far from the forefront. We are offered illuminating insights in Dinesh D’Souza’s two tomes, The Roots of Obama’s Rage and Obama’s America. Further, in their film, 2016: Obama’s America, D’Souza and Jerry Molen provide illustrative utterance to Obama’s foundational ideologies. And, in On The Brink, America’s Choice 2012, I offer some fundamental ideologies espoused by Mr. Obama.
As we look to this election, it is frightening what lies in store for America in the mind of Barack Obama. Let us not forget his statement to Dimitri Medvedev, which still sends chills up the spine.
Kimberley Strassel provides a current view of what Obama intentionally isn’t saying about his agenda for the next four years in her latest opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal.
President Obama has a reputation for talking, but not necessarily for saying much. He has achieved new levels of vagueness this election season. Beyond repeating that he’s in favor of making the “rich” pay for more government “investment,” he hasn’t offered a single new idea for a second term. This is deliberate.
The core of the Obama strategy is to make Americans worry that whatever Mitt Romney does, it will be worse. That’s a harder case for Mr. Obama to make if he is himself proposing change. And so the Obama pitch is that this election is a choice between stability (giving Mr. Obama four more years to let his policies finally work) and upheaval (giving Mr. Romney four years to re-ruin the nation).
The pitch is profoundly dishonest. While the choice between four more years of Obama status quo and Mr. Romney is certainly vivid, it isn’t accurate. The real contrast is between Mr. Romney’s and Mr. Obama’s future plans. And while the president hasn’t revealed what those plans are, there is plenty of evidence for what a second term would look like.
Let’s dispense with the obvious: An Obama second term will be foremost about higher taxes and greater spending. The president has been clear about the former and will consider victory in November a mandate to raise taxes on higher-income Americans and small businesses—at the least.
Meanwhile, no matter how the coming budget sequester sorts out, nobody should forget why it came into being: It was the result of Mr. Obama’s refusal to consider any real changes to Social Security or Medicare. There will be no reason to budge in a second term. Absent reform to these drivers of debt, and given Mr. Obama’s ambitions to further “invest” in education, energy and infrastructure, a second term means proposals for even broader and bigger tax hikes—and not just for his favorite targets. Continued and growing deficits are likely as well.
Presidents often use re-election to revive leftover policy objectives. A New Yorker magazine article in June noted: “The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change.” Such an unpopular policy focus might seem crazy if Republicans hold the House, but then again Mr. Obama will want an issue where he can press his advantage and blame an obstinate GOP. The president has to date been unconcerned by how his agenda hurts congressional Democrats; he’s unlikely to begin caring once he has been re-elected.
Yet since the probable outcome of his approach would be continued gridlock, his real efforts will be devoted to fine-tuning the regulatory apparatus he has designed specifically to go around Congress—as the administration has done the past two years. The Environmental Protection Agency in particular will resurrect rules it delayed implementing before the election (see: costly ozone regulations) and move to take over new areas like natural-gas fracking.
The same goes for other agencies, from the Labor Department to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The National Labor Relations Board will continue to cement union dominance over employers. The Solyndras will continue. What Mr. Obama cannot accomplish via regulation, he will attempt through executive order—much as he did with his recent immigration directive.
Most voters understand that a second Obama term means the continuation of ObamaCare and the Dodd-Frank financial regulations. But there is also the carte blanche that re-election will give the president to supercharge those laws, which are only now entering key rulemaking periods. The same Obama appointees who have already taken vast liberties with these laws (see: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’s ObamaCare slush fund) will be crafting the new regulations. The bureaucrats will also have four more years to put in place key civil servants who can be counted on to keep the rules going even past an Obama administration.
It is likely the Supreme Court will offer up another vacancy, and Mr. Obama might finally have his chance to shift the balance of the court. A slew of appellate-court positions are also in limbo as the campaign proceeds; they would be filled by a second-term Obama.
Just as important are the things Mr. Obama will not do. His record gives no indication he will revive America’s leadership in free trade. Nor is he likely to restore America’s influence in the international arena. And so we will inch closer to a nuclear-armed Iran and the threats that the regime will pose to international peace and order.
None of this is hyperbole. Mr. Obama is open about his tax aims, is proud of his spending and has never apologized for his regulatory ambitions. Despite a shellacking in the midterms, he moved left, and a November victory will reinforce his sense that he was correct to do so.
While Democrats will take careful pains in coming convention weeks to avoid outlining the president’s intentions, they are sitting in plain sight. The real choice this fall will be between Mitt Romney’s reform agenda and a Supersized Obama. No wonder the Democrats are keeping mum.
The evidence continues to mount and it is overwhelming! When taken in aggregate, Obama’s agenda for America is calculating and clear - to disable and dismantle America by debt, dependency and deception, one step at a time. Obama’s America does not comport to my America!
Let’s look at some of his actions in the past three years, each of which are illustrated or discussed below. Please note that this list is not complete, for if it were we would not have sufficient space for other posts. Notwithstanding, any one point herein is enough to validate an agenda of destruction. Barack Obama and those that have surrounded him are as duplicitous, disingenuous and un-American as you can be; with each hiding behind the veil of generosity and flattery and granting largesse from the public treasury in an attempted purchase of our American society (see video below). On the surface their actions may seem benign while behind the scenes their scheming to dismantle our freedoms and liberty is terribly malignant. In times past I thought Obama’s minions were just deceived by his flattery, position and power, but their actions are so revealing and overt in advancing Obama’s ideological agenda, which ideology is firmly entrenched in socialist and communistic principles, that they must be one in purpose. (Dirty Harry’s recent rant, as noted by Vic Lundquist, is simply a reflection of the disingenuous character of Obama’s campaign.)
If there is any doubt about Obama, we can study his brief and ‘hidden’ history, his writings and his associations, and therein know his ideology. His actions don’t belie his ideological heritage. In fact, his actions embrace his ideology. By removing the blinders, we clearly see who Obama really is by virtue of his associations, including but not limited to his mentoring from his friend Frank Davis (an avowed advocate and member of the Communist Party); his past membership in Chicago’s New Party (a Socialist Society); his affiliations and friendship with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright whose anti-American rhetoric is as fomenting as the clerics in the radical jihadist movement; his association and friendship with Bill Ayers, a convicted anti-American terrorist; his adoption of the teachings of Saul Alinsky (the father of community activist thuggery); and his associations with other unsavory characters. As individuals we tend to align ourselves and associate with those that are most like us in principles and ideals. Each of those noted above exposes Obama for who he is and reveals the foundations of his character. So is Obama! Why should we doubt? The actions are reflective of the man (see below).

In spite of the mainstream media trying to paint Mitt Romney as out of touch, or distant, he is anything but…Yes, he is wealthy beyond measure, and yes, he is ‘wicked smart’ and very accomplished - even so, he is more like you and me than the media would want expose. Mitt Romney gets it because he lives it; because he has spent many years serving others; because he values pragmatism; because of a life lived with empathy toward others. I have known the man for many years and appreciate him for what he stands for, but even more so for who he is - a man of faith; a man of integrity; a man of character; a patriot with a sense of duty and purpose; and a man who is as real as real gets. There is NO pretense or guile in Mitt Romney. Today, America needs REAL; America needs ROMNEY!
As noted in the introductory comments of my recent book, On The Brink, America’s Choice 2012, “What I do know is what Mitt and Ann Romney have done and are wont to do. They are the very antithesis of the media’s aloof creation. Aside from their great generosity in almsgiving, they have given of themselves, always. They care! And, they relate to you and me. They are as real as real gets, and those who have been touched by a personal experience can attest to who they truly are. Many, many individuals and families have experienced their empathy and caring love through anonymous acts of kindness. Further, their private lives are more like yours and mine than you might imagine. They do for themselves and their family what you and I do for ours – they do not live the life that many might expect.”
The book is revealing as to the depth of Mitt Romney and I smile when seeing pictures such as that above - because it is just plain Mitt! We have a great opportunity to elect one whose life experience has prepared him to lead in this, our nation’s defining moment. Unlike the current occupant in the White House who feigns alignment with American values and principles - Mitt lives them.
As an aside, I recently watched the documentary 2016, Obama’s America, and it was revealing in so many ways. Barack Obama is so far afield in his ideology and personal associations with colleagues and mentors that it is frightening to think of what might be if he is re-elected. Now is the time for America to take of the blinders of Obama’s deception and recognize that Mitt Romney is the hope for a brighter American future. Obama has proven to be the advocate of despair, deception and decline; while Mitt Romney has hoisted the Title of Liberty and stands as a champion for freedom. Hopefully, America can clearly see the distinction between these two men, and not be blinded by the flattery of Obama or the siren songs of the mainstream media and Hollywood - it appears as though America is waking up!
This is our moment, and momentum seems to be moving toward the cause of freedom that Mitt espouses, as noted in the posts below.
Thank you Barack Obama for waking up America and exposing who you really are, albeit through a small crack in the window! The internet is now abuzz with pictures and commentary about Obama’s comment, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Appreciating Mr. Obama’s statement, the contrast for America is a little clearer; for those on the fence, or those who have been wondering - they now have a better vision of the distinction between Governor Romney and Barack Obama. Even so, this is just the tip of the iceberg. If Obama talks unscripted long enough who knows what more he will reveal - keep talking!
Barack Obama - Recent Revelatory statements.
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
“Yes, there have been fierce arguments throughout our history between both parties about the exact size and role of government — some honest disagreements. But in the decades after World War II, there was a general consensus that the market couldn’t solve all of our problems on its own.”
“… Even my Republican friends who complain the most about government spending have supported federally financed roads and clean energy projects and federal offices for the folks back home. The point is, we should all want a smarter, more effective government.”
“Only government can break the vicious cycles that are crippling our economy, where a lack of spending leads to lost jobs which leads to even less spending.”
We are either a society that empowers people and recognizes a government subordinate; a government that is of, by and for the people - or we are a society that believes government to be supreme and sovereign where the people are subordinate. It is America’s choice, and that choice is clear!
Surely there are many whose dependency upon government and want for entitlement will cause them to vote for Mr. Obama; but when we become a ‘purchased’ and/or ‘dependent’ society (in the majority) we will have lost our freedoms and liberty; we will have become oppressed, subordinate and held hostage to a failed and unsustainable society in bondage.
About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:
A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years.
During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage
This is our defining moment!
Although we have known that Barack Obama believes the solution to the ills of our society is bigger and more intrusive government, his actions reveal an even more destructive and socialistic agenda. Whether in his imperialistic edicts and czar appointments that obviate Congressional and Constitutional authority; overburdening society with untenable and oppressive debt; neutering and subordinating America on the world stage; fracturing society through heightened class warfare; or creating a “purchased or dependent society” through government largesse, in each instance Mr. Obama elevates his socialistic agenda. Clearly we can see in Obama’s recent comments that government is the solution to all ills, and this will wake up many in America. However, the challenge remains whether our society will see the depth of his destructive agenda? What is clear is what Obama wants for America is not what American’s want for America.
Character - Integrity - Trust. Words matter, and these words in particular as we prepare to choose the next President of the United States. Character, integrity and trust are measures and standards that we must consider when entrusting the leadership of our nation to the next POTUS. Our nation is in turmoil! We are over-burdened with debt and spending; we suffer from failed leadership; the basic fabric of our society under attack - family, life and liberty. We suffer fissures and fractures in our society as never before in our respective lifetimes. Judicial appointments to the Supreme Court over the next four years will define, not just the nature of the Supreme Court, but all US District Courts as well. With Europe in severe financial distress, the Middle East in turmoil and contrary nations asserting their totalitarian regimes for world domination - the world is in commotion and tumult. As a nation, we sit atop a precipice where strong and principled leadership will make all the difference. If ever there was a time choose a leader with character, integrity and trust - it is NOW! If ever there was a time to choose a principled leader with capacity and experience - it is NOW! If ever there was a time to choose a man of principle; a man who understands and abides the founding principles of our nation; a man who is aligned with the interests of our American values - it is NOW! This is not a time for passivity and sitting on the sidelines - this is a time for active ADVOCACY; a time to stand for what we believe in and speak out - becoming voices of reason in a dark and boisterous world!
Character, It Matters (Part I) was a comparative of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. It is clear to me, in spite of my bias, that on the character measure, Mitt Romney stands well above Obama in this regard; in the company he keeps, in his core values and principles, in the manner in which he has lived and continues to live his life, and in his commitment to America. Character, It Matters Part II is less of a comparative and is intended to dissect in greater detail the true character of Barack Obama. Absent knowing Obama personally, we can only look to his actions, associations, and seek to measure his intent. It has been said, you can measure the true character of a man when his back is against the wall and when things are down; his actions will reflect who and what he is. As a nation, we have been tolerant and treated this man with kid gloves - NO MORE! Simply put, Barack Obama has been corrupted by power and greed, in fact, Barack Obama has proven his weakness of character by his actions of late, with truth revealed - no more hiding in the shadows of subtlety.
Let’s consider the revealing facts of Obama’s character:
Firstly, it was revealed much to the chagrin of Obama’s campaign that it’s primary strategy is to destroy, or ‘kill’ Mitt Romney. Ann Romney addresses it below.
Secondly, at Obama’s direction, he and his campaign have fabricated and spread lies about Mitt Romney, not distortions, but flat out lies in an effort to elevate their standing in this election. Further, they have covered up their own indiscretions. Pride is a terrible thing and is most often manifest when one undertakes to diminish another for personal gain and elevation. However, when intentionally deceptive and driven by lies to cover one’s own sins, or achieve an agenda, it is no longer pride but an evil construct of power and greed for self, above principle and others.
Breitbart provides a good summary HERE and below. Who do you think directs David Axelrod’s agenda?
Obama and Mainstream Media Lies (they are inseparable):
1) Bain Capital and Mitt Romney’s outsourcing agenda (independently proven to be false)
2) Bain Capital and Mitt Romney’s role therein, regarding greed and ‘vulture capitalism’ that cost American jobs (independently proven to be false)
3) Mitt Romney’s failure to create jobs and his competence and capacity in the economy (independently proven to be false). Parenthetically, Mitt Romney, through this efforts, has created billions of dollars of wealth for many American’s, including the jobs represented, and more.
4) Mitt Romney’s hidden wealth, ie, ill-gotten and hidden gains (independently proven to be false)
5) Mitt Romney’s bullying (independently proven to be false)
And yet, the Obama campaign continues their distortions, lies and attempted destruction in spite of truth to the contrary…
And, there’s more -
- Imperious edicts on immigration, contrary to Constitutional checks and balances, and Constitutional law.
- Czar appointments to obviate Congressional authority and responsibility.
- Security leaks of serious and threatening magnitude to burnish one’s foreign policy bona fides.
- Taking personal credit for the willing sacrifice and service of others for our nation, and then outing them to the enemy (SEAL Team 6)
- Associations with individuals whose lives have been revealed to be contrary to the interests of our nation.
- Distorting truth about his being overspent by Romney’s campaign to prospective donors and pleading campaign disadvantage and poverty. Check out Jim Geraghty here.
As each of these points are considered, I repeat: Character - Integrity - Trust. Words matter, and these words in particular as we prepare to choose the next President of the United States. Character, integrity and trust are measures and standards that we must consider when entrusting the leadership of our nation to the next POTUS.
By any measure, Barack Obama does not meet the standard.
