BREAKING: CIA Told To Stand Down In Libya; Father of Killed ex-SEAL Calmly asks Why

Fox News today released two more disturbing reports about the events at Benghazi on September 11, 2012.

First, Fox reports:

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Here’s the video:

Remember that the attacks came in waves and lasted for six and a half hours. Drones were in position to watch. Teams could have been deployed from Italy and arrived in time to help. What happened?

Reacting to this news, Charles Woods, the father of killed ex-SEAL Tyrone Woods, didn’t mince words:

The father of a former Navy SEAL killed in the Libya terror attack last month said Friday that U.S. officials who denied a request for help while the diplomatic compound in Benghazi was under attack “are murderers of my son.”

Charles Woods was reacting to accounts by Fox News sources that a request from the CIA annex for backup was denied by U.S. officials. His son, Tyrone Woods, was killed in the Sept. 11 assault.

“They refused to pull the trigger,” Woods said. “Those people who made the decision and who knew about the decision and lied about it are murderers of my son.”

Woods said he forgives whoever denied the apparent request, but he urged them to “stand up.”

Here’s his son’s story, and the father’s reaction:

Glen Beck also interviewed Mr. Woods today. He asked Mr. Woods about his interactions with the president, vice president and Secretary of State Clinton. He was not impressed that any of them were terribly sincere in their expressed apologies. Our vice president even made a couple less than appropriate remarks (surprise), and Mrs. Clinton explicitly said they’d go after the guy who “made that film” is arrested; not the attackers. Here’s that video:

When can we expect the administration to respond to these, and other inflammatory allegations, or should we expect to be kept in the dark until after the election?

President Obama — “HORRIBLE FOR HIM”

We all contemplate Monday night’s debate on foreign policy. In the last three weeks, Barack Obama and Joe Biden blamed the intelligence community for “the movie trailer” narrative for a “spontaneous” attack on the Benghazi consulate. How long did you think it would take the CIA and other intelligence sources to correct the record on such a blatant lie? Did Mr. Obama really think we Americans are all so dumb as to believe such nonsense?

In one word, “yes.”

But why? An absolutely crucial element of Mr. Obama’s campaign theme is that al-Qaeda has been largely decimated and rendered ineffective. Why? Because Barack Obama killed Osama bin Laden. Following the flawed logic, Americans are to conclude the threat of radical Islamic terrorism is no more. We will therefore give all the credit to Mr. Obama by granting him four more years in The White House.

Mr. Obama: We know your game. We have seen this act before. You can go hide out at Camp David this weekend to spin another web of tales for Monday. We will never forget those who have sacrificed their lives for America.

As we all contemplate Monday’s debate and the authority granted each one of us on November 6, 2012, please watch this short video, especially at second 0.35 when Bill Clinton speaks for Mr. Obama. Bill Clinton’s shameless and disgusting revelation perfectly defines this president and his character:

“Horrible for him”? How reprehensible! But it is all the more “in character” after Mr. Obama’s unemotional and insensitive comments regarding the deaths of four great Americans on 9/11/12 as not “optimal.”

Mr. Obama’s “optimal” reality will be stark the evening of November 6th.

Mitt Romney: Death of AL-AWLAKI a Major Victory

Anwar al-Awlaki, one of the world's most wanted terrorists, was killed today by a hell-fire missile from a U.S. drone in Yemen. 9/30/11

Mitt Romney issued the following statement today on the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki:

“The killing of Anwar al-Awlaki is a major victory in our fight against Islamist terrorism and proper justice for the numerous attacks and plots he inspired or planned against America. I commend the President, the members of the intelligence community, our service members, and our allies for their continued efforts to keep Americans safe. Nevertheless, we must remain vigilant and continue the fight against those who seek to destroy us and our freedoms.”

“A very bad man just had a very bad day.”

A BIG thank you to the CIA and the U.S. military!

Do Nancy Pelosi’s Words Prove Her Favorite Word is THE WORD?

Sometimes political pretense is so ridiculous, pandering so blatant, it defies words – but I’ll try. On May 6, 2010, Nancy Pelosi spoke at a Catholic Community Conference on Capitol Hill. In her fluttery, flouncy way, she claimed that she is obligated to support public policies “in keeping with the values” of Jesus Christ. Pelosi said her favorite word is - THE WORD - Jesus’ word.

Pelosi: “They ask me all the time, what is your favorite this? What is your favorite that? What is your favorite that?’ And one time, ‘What is your favorite word?’ And I said, ‘My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the biblical reference, you know the Gospel reference of the Word.”

“And, uh, that… Word,” Pelosi said, “is, uh, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn’t it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word. (laughter)

“Fill, ya know, fill it in with anything you want. […]

Flagrant flim-flam.

Nancy Pelosi voted for partial-birth abortion which became law in 2003. She has a perfect pro-abortion voting record.

A few other Pelosi WORDS:

“…I don’t think anybody can tell you when life begins, human life begins.”

“I will lead the most honest, the most open and the most ethical Congress in history.”

On September 24, 2021 Speaker Nancy Pelosi told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that she was “absolutely” committed to putting the text of the final House bill [health care] online for 72 hours before the House votes:

TWS: Madam Speaker, do you support the measure to put the final House bill online for 72 hours before it’s voted on at the very end?

PELOSI: Absolutely. Without question.

“We have to pass the bill to know what’s in it.”

“There has never been a more open process for any legislation.”

“I knew nothing about the CIA and water boarding.”

“The CIA is misleading the United States. They mislead us all the time.”

“Every month that we do not have a recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.”

“There will be no earmarks in the economic recovery package that passes the house.”

Wolf Blitzer (CNN) interviews Pelosi (posted on YouTube March 10, 2022):

[OT] CIA Responds to “Legacy of Ashes”

This is a bit off topic (i.e. not directly related to Mitt) but its something that every candidate and every informed voter should look into.

I just finished Tim Weiner’s extensive history of the CIA entitled: “Legacy of Ashes.” Hugh Hewitt has done a lot to promote this book and for good reason. First, its a great read that details some of the most interesting points of history surrounding the CIA. Second, it is an overwhelming indictment of the bungling craziness that pervades our intelligence agency even to this day.

Need more evidence? When was the last time the CIA actually issued a press release trying to refute a book? Why do they care? Because Weiner is supposed to be one of them… a New York Times writer who’s not a conservative.

Bottom line: the CIA needs work… lots of work.
