VP Debate: Biden’s Bad-Mannered Buffoonery Blows It, Ryan Resolute

Vice President Joe Buffoonery Biden proved once again at last night’s vice presidential debate in Danville, KY, what an embarrassment he is for the United States of America. (photographer unknown)

With his derisive laughter, zombie eye-rolling, feigned incredulity, exaggerated theatrical gestures, continual interruptions, and over-all condescension, Vice Presidential smirk monkey Joe Biden negated any gains he hoped to make at last night’s V.P. debate. Biden’s performance sealed the deal for him… as the simpleton from Scranton and America’s permanent political huckster. Debate moderator, ABC’s Martha Raddatz, failed to control all-show Joe and left many yearning for Jim Lehrer.

Although GOP Vice Presidential candidate 42-year-old Rep Paul Ryan is 27 years younger than 69-year-old Biden, he was resolute, reassuring, and ready to take on the smart-aleck. Ryan was clearly the adult seated at the debate desk in Danville.

Polls from CNBC and CNN revealed Ryan won.

Here’s just a sampling of Twitterverse take-aways (comments from FOX News contributors at end of article):

Shamelessly, Obama Continues to Distort Romney’s Economic Plan

After Obama’s comatose debate performance last week, the very next day on the campaign trail, with teleprompter chugging along at full speed, wasn’t it amazing how Obama suddenly became animatedly bright-eyed and chatty? Without missing a beat or showing even a modicum of acknowledgment that he messed up royally, he continued and still continues to lie about Mitt Romney’s economic plan. Despite the fact that news outlets, and even Obama’s Deputy Campaign Manager, Stephanie Cutter, had to admit his false claim, Obama, his campaign officials, and his surrogates continue to flat-out call Romney a liar.

Following his embarrassing, cringe-worthy performance, the President’s immediate day-after-debate mocking of Governor Romney was a “na-na-na-na-na-na” display of petulant, smirky, childish egoism. (Eastwood was right about the empty chair.)

Brazen, boastful Barack…

Obama’s display reveals what a small, character-stunted man he is.

It’s astonishing to behold.

There was no lying from Romney. And, important to note, there was no post-debate gloating from Governor Romney.

New ad:

Here’s a fact Obama doesn’t want you to know: Under his economic plan, taxes will increase on the middle class by $4,000. Add this to your long list of reasons why Americans absolutely cannot afford or stand four more excruciating years of Obama’s fiascoes.

By Michael Ramirez

After nearly four deficient, failed years, Obama is blatantly showing a bit of the worst of himself in a repugnant attempt to convince Americans he now knows what’s best for our broke, broken nation.

Absolutely not.

Debate: Obama’s Big Name Donor Says ‘Looks Like He Took My Million & Spent it All on Weed’

“Uhmmm…teleprompter, PLEASE!”

Adoring, staunch Obama fan and MILLION dollar donor to his reelection fund, Bill Maher, mocked the President’s horrific Denver debate debacle on his HBO program last night:

“I’m sorry, he sucked. He looked tired. He had trouble getting his answers out. Looks like he took my million and spent it all on weed!” – Bill Maher

Maher debate night tweet:

Presidential debate Oct 3, 2012: Obama, the navel-gazer…

In spite of all the post-debate lies coming from sucker-punched Obama and cohorts that Romney lied, Governor Romney’s preparation, performance, and facts/truth sharing was outstanding. Michael Reagan said again today on FOX News, “Romney gave the best debate performance since LINCOLN.”

Here’s the truth: When Maher continues to blister Obama, you know it’s bad… really bad.

Stay on offense, Gov, and do. not. let. up.

You’ve got them running scared.

USA Growth & Opportunity? Vote for Romney/Ryan! Hannity Interview (VIDEO)

By Ken Catalino - Oct 5, 2021

After Governor Mitt Romney cleaned Obama’s clock at the first presidential debate in Denver, America’s Comeback Team, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, took time out from campaigning yesterday to talk with FOX News’ Sean Hannity. Here’s the interview:

Part :

Part :

We’ve seen the palpable, patriotic energy that exists between Romney and Ryan; it’s always great to see them together. Also evident is that they understand and respect each other. Competence recognizes competence. Mitt and Paul also genuinely enjoy each other’s company and that, combined with holding the House and taking back the Senate, is going to make for an outstanding, productive presidency. How fortunate we are that they are a dynamic, dynamite duo! Democrats are stuck with their two dingbats. No fluke the two of them ended up together; a knave needs another knave to cover his tracks. And, one can’t speak without a teleprompter and the other can’t be prompted to shut up.

Obama and Biden are conspiring, failed desperadoes. Without a blink, they and their fellow conspirators keep churning out lie after lie to hide that fact.

Romney/Ryan’s competence and commitment to actually solve the plethora of grievous problems Obama/Biden have foisted on us – to strengthening the principles our nation was founded on and making life better for 100 per cent of the American people - is the message we MUST broadcast non-stop.

What They’re Saying About the Presidential Duel in Denver - Obama: “Four Snore Years”

The first debate is over!

It was remarkable…

for Romney.

The day after the first presidential debate of 2012 in Denver, CO, this headline from the Boston Herald says it all… (Oct 4, 2021)

I was going to begin this article by saying Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama went eyeball to eyeball last night in Denver, but that wasn’t the case. It was a night of Romney focusing on Obama, looking directly into his eyes, while Obama’s eyes were oft-times focused… downward… as if he was willing the lectern to morph into his teleprompter. And, in my opinion, as if he knew Romney was on to him. The Boston Herald headline above encapsulates the evening.

Romney seemed to relish the opportunity to speak to Americans without the filter of the nefarious news media. He was the man we know and admire - very well-prepared, precise, focused, in control, filled with conviction and compassion, showed humor, aggressive while affable, and was completely at ease.

Obama was flat, subdued, distracted, passive, at times churlish and bewildered that his royal-highness-stature-and-personality wasn’t cutting the mustard. At one point Obama asked moderator Jim Lehrer to move off a topic (a first!).

From the get-go, Obama attempted to set the campaign narrative as not what has happened in the last four years, but what will happen if he’s given four MORE years. He couldn’t be standing on shakier, flakier ground.

Some Obama proponents today are claiming moderator Jim Lehrer was weak or favored Romney. Not so. Obama was given four more minutes of speaking time - over Romney. The Governor delivered far more substance in his allotted time than Obama with his extra OVERtime. And, Lehrer appeared at times to attempt to coach Obama via his questions, trying to prompt him to give a more cogent response.

Last night’s debate aptly illustrated by Gary Varvel, Oct 4, 2021

Clash of the titans? The only titan present in this race is Mitt Romney.

I’m delighted at what is being said about the Duel in Denver (from Mitt Romney Press):

Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter: “And I Think That Mitt Romney, Yes, He Absolutely Wins The Preparation. And He Wins The Style Points.” (CNN’s “CNN Live,” 10/3/12)

ABC News’ Jake Tapper: “It Was Not A Strong Performance By [President Obama].” ABC’s JAKE TAPPER: “Well, I’ve covered President Obama for about six or seven years now and I’ve seen him inspire crowds of tens of thousands and then I also recall the summer of 2007 when he was listless and flat and uninspired and his campaign manager had to knock some sense in him and get him back in the game. Unfortunately for the Obama campaign that’s the Obama I saw on the stage tonight. It was not a strong performance by him.” (ABC, 10/3/12)

Bloomberg’s Joshua Green: “Dominating…” “On Wednesday night, Mitt Romney attempted a hostile takeover of the presidential campaign … dominating President Obama.” (Bloomberg, 10/3/12)

Politico’s Glenn Thrush: “How Tough A Night Was It For The Incumbent? He Even Muffed Some Of The Basics Of Debate 101…” “How tough a night was it for the incumbent? He even muffed some of the basics of Debate 101, struggling to find the right camera to address once or twice during the mostly civil 90-minute exchange.” (Politico, 10/3/12)

After Mitt Romney’s debate performance, his sweet granddaughter rushed on stage to give him a big hug. Oct 3, 2021 (photographer unknown)

Time’s Mark Halperin: “A Performance That Will Both Delight The Republican Base And Make Undecided Voters Take Note. Was The Dominant Figure On The Stage On Almost Every Exchange.” (Time , 10/3/12)

ABC News’ Russell Goldman: “Romney Came Out Swinging In The First Presidential Debate…” “Mitt Romney came out swinging in the first presidential debate, challenging President Obama over his health care reforms, treatment of the economy, taxes and funding for Sesame Street’s Big Bird.” (ABC News, 10/3/12)

BuzzFeed’s Michael Hastings: “For Weeks, President Obama’s Advisers Have Been Lowering Expectations … Maybe The Expectations Weren’t Low Enough.” “For weeks, President Obama’s advisers have been lowering expectations for the debate tonight, both privately and publicly forecasting that the Commander in Chief could deliver a dud. Maybe the expectations weren’t low enough.” (BuzzFeed, 10/3/12)

Time’s Joe Klein: “Mitt Romney Won This Debate. Barack Obama Lost It. I Mean, He Got His Butt Kicked.” “Well, I’m with all the other talking heads: Mitt Romney won this debate. Barack Obama lost it. I mean, he got his butt kicked. It was, in fact, one of the most inept performances I’ve ever seen by a sitting President.” (Time , 10/3/12)

Bloomberg’s Ramesh Ponnuru: “Romney Made The Most Focused Appeal To Middle-Class Voters On The Basis Of How His Agenda Would Help Them…” “Romney made the most focused appeal to middle-class voters on the basis of how his agenda would help them — on energy, on health care, on jobs — that he ever has.” (Bloomberg, 10/4/12)

Biden: “Middle Class BURIED Last Four Years”, Couldn’t Have Said it Better for Romney/Ryan (New AD)

VP Joe’s moment of clarity!

Talk about timing!

On the eve of the first Presidential debate, Veep Joe dramatically, fiercely, earnestly spewed a truth out of his lying lips:

This is deadly earnest, man. This is deadly earnest… How they can justify — how they can justify — raising taxes when the middle class has been buried the last four years… How in Lord’s name… — Vice President Joe Biden, spreading the conservative message at a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina, Oct 2, 2012.

Contrary to all the lies shooting out of the Obama/Biden calumny camp, Governor Romney will NOT raise taxes on the middle class. He and Paul Ryan are CHAMPIONING the middle class AND the poor; they will kick-start Obama’s cardiac-arrest economy and create upward mobility for all.

Under Obama/Biden, 23 million fellow citizens DO NOT HAVE JOBS, one in six Americans now find themselves in POVERTY, food stamp and disability enrollments have exploded, and average Americans have lost income to the tune of $4,000. Many lucky enough to have a job are often overworked for less pay and are afraid a pink slip is just around the corner. Under spend-‘n-go Barack and Joe, gasoline and food prices have flown out the roof!

Romney’s tax plan - from his website:

Individual Taxes

America’s individual tax code applies relatively high marginal tax rates on a narrow tax base. Those high rates discourage work and entrepreneurship, as well as savings and investment. With 54 percent of private sector workers employed outside of corporations, individual rates also define the incentives for job-creating businesses. Lower marginal tax rates secure for all Americans the economic gains from tax reform.

Make permanent, across-the-board 20 percent cut in marginal rates
Maintain current tax rates on interest, dividends, and capital gains
Eliminate taxes for taxpayers with AGI below $200,000 on interest, dividends, and capital gains
Eliminate the Death Tax
Repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT)

Without going into specifics right now because they’re outlined on his website and because The Gov will speak more on his plan at tonight’s debate in Denver, Romney will also CLOSE TAX LOOPHOLES for the wealthy.

From Team Romney/Ryan:

The Obama economy has crushed the middle class—with more than 23 million Americans struggling for work.

Yesterday, Vice President Biden finally admitted that the last four years have “buried” the middle class.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Couldn’t Say it Better:

The only thing Biden is earnest about is deceiving Americans.

Oh… Ol’ Joe’s usage of the Lord’s name to emphasize his lie that Romney will raise taxes on the middle class? Earnestly shameful.

America: Obama’s Reality vs Romney’s Reality

With sufficient frustrations born of the media’s failing of America by not disseminating truth and facts, and with bewilderment over the media’s blindness to truth and substance, I have compared below the realities of America under Obama and Romney. To be fair, Mitt Romney hasn’t led America, yet, but his history and record is clearly indicative of what we might see under a Romney Presidency. Further and notwithstanding my bias towards Mitt Romney, I have tried to be dispassionate in this comparative.

Romney’s America seems to be more robust and more hopeful, in fact, more Free.

What the Media Doesn’t Want You to Know: Obama’s Follies

Below is an historical perspective that the media will diminish and distort, or not even disclose or discuss with America as they strive to protect and promote Barack Obama. Why? Whether in ideological alignment with Obama or striving for relevance and power in our society, the media is wont to attack or undermine Mitt Romney and the conservative movement, at any price without boundary, integrity or principle. What Obama and the media fail to realize in their blindness and pandering for relevance and power, is that they only become relevant and important unto themselves. By and through their misguided actions to become relevant, they become irrelevant. Never before in our history has the media, or our President for that matter, been so irresponsible and caught up in their own self-importance; never before have they been so blatant in their wants and posturing to America’s discredit; never before have they revealed who they really are and abandoned all ethical boundaries; never before have they exposed themselves with reckless and irresponsible abandon. The battle lines have been drawn and the media has joined the opposition. Their insidious lack of integrity and public profile is undermining the very fabric of our society, and all in the name of their principal advocate, Barack Obama. The same could be said for the liberal thinkers in our center-right society. The liberal thinkers and the media have aligned with one another and through their protestations convinced themselves that they are a reflection of American society; again, at the behest of their leading advocate, Barack Obama. They are not a reflection of the majority of American’s, yet - and hopefully they never will! Surely, they and Obama represent some in America, but clearly, truth and ideology be told, it is the minority. By and through their public pulpit each are convinced if they shout loud enough we will be equally convinced. What is tragic is the blatant lies and manipulations in play; with stories suppressed, polls manipulated, and lies promulgated - the media and Obama are trying to sell what is good as bad and what is bad as good. This deception has to stop! History has proven when the majority in society remain silent to the protestations of the extremes, lives and freedoms are lost - Not here, and not in America!

Intentional as the media may be to try and diminish and suppress conservative voter turnout by skewed and distorted polls, deceitful attacks on conservative values and Mitt Romney, or collusion to suppress information and deviate from substance - they will not succeed. I believe the efforts of deception will diminish Democratic turnout and elevate the Conservative turnout!

Noted in the recent post by Vic Lundquist, voices are being raised in opposition and standing on principles, gratefully!

The historical aggregation of some of Obama’s follies without sufficient media disclosure and publication is distressing for many reasons, not the least of which are the lives and freedoms lost.

1) Barack Obama’s failure to act on advance intel to protect our Libyan Ambassador and his colleagues; and his subsequent cover up of known intelligence reports conjunctive with his recent dismissiveness and failure to address and acknowledge terrorism on US territory in Libya and 20 embassies around the world.

2) Lives were lost because of Obama’s failed leadership and inattentions in the Middle East. Today our military is under severe threat because of the undermining attitudes and policies of Barack Obama. Each day we are losing men and women because of political posturing by Obama in Afghanistan - our enemy has infiltrated our ‘allies’ and are killing our soldiers, and nothing is said or done to stop it.

3) Barack Obama’s compromising leaks of national security matters to bolster his foreign policy bona fides, and put our nation at further risk.

4) Barack Obama’s foreign policy priorities to appease and accommodate our enemies; his foreign policy priorities to advocate the LGBT agenda as a condition of American aid, ‘cultural imperialism.’

5) Obama’s abandonment of world leadership; abandonment of Israel; accommodation to a soon-to-be nuclear Iran; accommodation to an Arab Winter and radical Islamic leadership that has put in play a conflagration in the Middle East.

6) Barack Obama’s willful taxes on the poor and middle class when he stated the contrary. (a) Obama stated he wouldn’t raise a dollar of tax on the middle class; and yet, he clearly stated he would wage a war on energy and bankrupt certain industries, including the coal industry. Consequentially, we have seen gasoline prices and home fuel costs more than double in 3 years. American’s are paying at least $1,200-$4,000 more per year in fuel costs because of Obama’s stated policies which is an egregious tax on all. (b) Obama’s debt agenda has imposed a principal borrowing of nearly $6 trillion, plus interest, on all Americans! His spending is one of the most significant taxes he can impose on this and future generations. What isn’t discussed is the cost of interest on this debt when interest rates go up, and they will go up. (c) Obamacare will further impose a minimum tax on all American’s of at least $4,000 per year and in the years to come, and so much more. Additionally, under Obamacare our seniors have to pay an added Obamacare tax on the sale of their homes.

E.W. Jackson Calls for “Mass Exodus” from Democrat Party

MittRomneyCentral has published a number of extraordinarily powerful videos over the last three years. I believe this one belongs in that category. Yes, I know it is longer than one minute…sorry, but some messages need more time than a sound bite. This one does. You will be glad you heard this message I believe.

By the way, what prior presidential election do you remember in which so many African American leaders came out against the leader of the Democrat Party?

E. W. Jackson gave a speech at the National Press Club on September 10th that was never heard in the media because of the horrible news out of Libya and the Middle East that day and the following day. At time 0:40 he calls all those of Judeo-Christian values to lead a “mass exodus from the Democrat Party;” at 3:50 he states that the Democrat Party expects all its members to bow to it; At 4:40, he said the Democrat Party has declared war on Christianity; at 6:45 he speaks of lies, lies, lies to blacks of the ties between Planned Parenthood and the Democrat Party; at 10:35 he says this is “the beginning of a movement to call our country back to the faith of our founding fathers. Back to the values upon which they built this nation. Back to the truths upon which it was established. And back to the idea we can be one nation under God…”

Do you remember this piece from August 2nd written by Ben Collins?

At the press conference, Rev. William Owens, who is president and founder of the Coalition of African-Americans Pastors and the leader of the campaign, was joined by five other black regional pastors and said there were 3,742 African-American pastors on board for the anti-Obama campaign.

Rev. Owens states, “I am ashamed that the first black president chose this road, a disgraceful road.”

Is anybody listening? Or will 95% of all African Americans line up as lemmings behind Mr. Obama again as Jackson states? It is time to wake up America!

Hat Tip to Kevin Anderson for fleshing this speech out for MRC

Opinion: No, Mr. President, YOU Can’t Change Washington

As we’ve all heard by now President Obama has finally admitted that while hope died out quite a while ago, change has now died along with it.

The clip of Obama’s actual statement is the first video clip at this link below.

Now I try to give people a little slack when they make comments that I feel are being misconstrued. For example, do I think Mitt really believes 47% of the country are freeloaders? No, I really don’t. My Mitt translator tells me Mitt was describing the size of the 47% Democratic base, the fact that lowering taxes is less likely to appeal to many of the 47% of the people who are non-taxpayers, and that some voters are honestly not convincible because they’re unlikely to vote against their pocketbooks. Are those people all Democrats? No. Does that group make up 47% of the populace? I don’t think Mitt really thinks that. In the setting of a fundraiser, where the comments are less precise (remember Obama’s “god and guns”?) Mitt just ran those concepts together. I can cut him some slack on that, knowing I could easily do the same, and I know President Obama and Joe Biden have said much worse. And Mitt made clear he thinks there’s a legitimate debate to be had about creating dependency rather than jobs, and that true success will be in growing the entire economy so that all succeed rather than focusing on redistribution of wealth (which has never worked). But do I think he believes half of the country are freeloaders? Absolutely not. Is there a large percent of Dems who won’t vote for a Republican no matter what? Yes. Those are the people he was saying he can’t worry about trying to please in an election. Of course once you’re president, it’s different: Mitt’s said as much before. If elected he’d be the president of everyone, not a subgroup.

So now, since I’m in a generous mood, I think it’s appropriate to analyze President Obama’s latest misstatement.

Now admittedly as a Mitt fan I’m happy to zing President Obama a bit on the face value of his words, just as Obama fans like to do to Mitt. And lest anyone misunderstand, let no one say Mitt’s any more prone to misstatement than President “you didn’t build that” Obama or Joe “put y’all back in chains” Biden.

Part of Obama’s statement is honestly shocking: the candidate who entered office on a wave of “hope and change” and “change you can believe in” has now come to the conclusion, even calling it the “most important lesson” he learned in the last four years (seriously?), that he can’t change Washington from the inside. Ouch. Click here to continue reading
