Debate Analysis: Romney Rocked That Empty Chair

I hate being the “I told ya so” guy, hence, I should take some credit for my showing of credibility and word of mouth. I have been struggling for months and just recently for days in convincing my Republican friends that the game ain’t over, that Mitt Romney will step up to the plate and give a resounding rebuttal to President Obama’s lies.

They set the bar so low for Mitt Romney, that even a tie or a well performance would of put Romney at a good start, since it is after all a challenger standing foot to foot with the incumbent President. But who would of thought that Romney would just simply slap Obama in the face, that even his most passionate supporters had to scream our of despair: ‘Where the heck is Obama?’

The notion that Mitt Romney is a good debater is unquestionable. Out of 20 debates in the GOP primary season, he only lost two of them to Newt Gingrich, and prevailed against him, the best debater in town, at the two Florida primary debates.

But there’s more to it. Romney is a quick learner, but also a fighter. Whenever he was faced with a ‘do or die’ challenge, he met it with great aggressiveness and pulled it off. Iowa wasn’t supposed to be Romney’s home turf, but he won it by losing it to Santorum with 34 votes. He lost SC, but won decisively in FL after being buried, and being offered to step down for the Jeb. In Michigan, his home town, he won it, after losing steam to Santorum and the lead as the frontrunner, and so until he got the nomination in Tampa.

Because when Romney is challenged, he rises to the moment, and delivers.

The race ain’t over, the votes are not yet counted, but if anyone had any doubt in Romney’s ability to beat the President, 67% of tonight’s debate watchers have the answer loud and clear: Romney won. He won big.

I think people losing faith in Mitt Romney’s candidacy before even seeing the first debate is a gross miscalculation. Especially from Republicans. Obama is great orator, but Romney is a great debater. When people become familiar with his intellect, pragmatism and passion in the debates, they will be able to envision him as a president.

I think Romney will win all three debates. He has the passion and the clear vision of what this country needs. He showed a strong business acumen and at the same time he talked about how his policies will help the poor and middle class. That is what people want to hear.

“If truth is the standard…we will win!”…Mitt Romney

    Romney/Ryan…..2012!!

LOL! love the title of this article. The question is that do the Odummers unerstand Gov Romney’s philospohical argument?? Let’s pray they pay attention to Gov Romney now.

This Prez has no shame. He spent the entire night giving stump speechs to his Odummers. What an embarassment! he even mentioned Osama and killed him AGAIN.

Folks, we’re in deeper trouble than we thought. This Prez is not capable handling intellectual conversation on the economy, jobs, national secuirty. Com’n if he’s a ceo his ass could have been gone long time ago let alone seeking another term with his shitty economy plans.

    Let’s keep the memontum going.

I agree with the above comments! Barry looked lost! It seems like people don’t realize if there are jobs, then the tax dollars from those jobs will help the economy! The problem is there are so many people who really don’t want to work. They don’t mind being on welfare, and like the free money, free phones, food and housing. They like the Obama handouts. Obama kept mentioning money for schools….what good is an education when you can’t get a job!?? My family is middle class, and my daughter just started college, we are the people that are not poor enough to get grants, and not rich enough to really afford tuition. Yet if my daughter had gotten pregnant or got married, she could get a grant! It just seems like in this day and age, the slackers prevail. they work the system, and it makes be angry. In my opinion, at the end of the day, the people who like to work and want more than handouts will vote Romney. The people you see loading up at the grocery store and using their welfare card to buy groceries (then getting into their Lexus or BMW) are the ones who will vote Obama…..

Mitt could swing a huge voting block (veterans and their families) with an announced plan to revamp and streamline the Veterans Administration. The VA consistently fights and delays veterans benefits to Vets and badly needs reform. All Veterans know haw bad the VA is and any mention of reform would result in a huge swing to Mitt

Mitt hit it out of the ball park last night! He was totally amazing and his knowledge shined through. He knows how to be a great president and he will win on November 6th!

  6. IR says:

During the debate Americans got a chance to see and experience the “Romney” which truly he is. His intelligence, honesty, integrity came out so forcefully that it was an avalanche and BO could not withstand that because BO is very shallow and superficial. The momentum will continue and Romney will win in November.

  7. ccr says:

Mitt is not only intelligent and a man of integrity……..this man KNOWS how to WORK! He will work and do whatever it takes and humanly possible to turn our country around!! (unlike the empty rhetoric we’ve listened to for the past 4 yrs!). He has tremendous energy and is a humble man who TRULY loves America and our values!

Paul Ryan is such a tremendous compliment that he will be a VP like any other, I believe. He won’t be the dufus next in line to the POTUS. He is an equal man of intelligence, ability and patriotism like Gov. Romney!!
