The Ghost of Ronald Reagan Haunts President Obama (O’Reilly)

President Reagan

When it comes to videos posted, my general rule is to put up videos that are two minutes in length, or less. Once in awhile a longer video clip comes along that deserves to be seen far and wide. Bill O’Reilly’s opening monologue from yesterday’s “The Factor” is one. This is outstanding.

For weeks I have been wanting to do the research to illustrate what Bill O’Reilly so concisely explained in these six minutes. History is such a wonderful teacher — so why does Mr. Obama ignore the lessons of history? What do we learn here from O’Reilly’s tutorial?

Mr. Obama has enacted and is attempting to enact policies that are the opposite of what is needed to create jobs and stimulate strong, sustained economic growth. O’Reilly includes several video vignettes of both Reagan and Obama that are powerful. Each point made here seems so amazingly obvious, that one one wonders why so many millions of Americans just don’t see it. Every decision Barack Obama makes seems intended to damage the economy — to damage America.

O’Reilly states that Ronald Reagan effectively proved that Jimmy Carter was incompetent. Mitt Romney will be effective in exposing Barack Obama as not only incompetent but also as naive and simple minded.

Check out the chart O’Reilly includes contrasting Obama’s tax rates with Romney’s. In my opinion, this piece by O’Reilly is brilliant:

Very informative clip. I like the simplicity of Obama vs Gov Romney tax table. You guys should use the table to inform.
Obama doesn’t care. Clearly, the reason Obama is not extending all Bush tax cuts is that b/c he wants his friends Wallstreet Occupiers votes.

Obama the Outsourcer-in-Chief. Take a look the RNC link where Obama has been wasting taxpayers money,Especially on Obama’s bogus green/wind energy waste around the globe. Follow the money….

Vic - great post! O’Reilly makes the argument so well. Thanks for getting this video up - it needs to be seen.

The clip of Obama a few years ago is proof that Obama is not completely naive or incompetent. He knew well that more taxes don’t equal growth. Why then is he advocating them? Obviously for political reasons. To put it bluntly, Obama DOESN’T CARE about the people. I thought he did when I supported him in 2008 but his actions have shown otherwise. Speaking of history, contrast that with Bill Clinton. Personal indiscretions aside, Clinton fought big government and recently has broken party lines to defend Romney’s record at Bain. He cared enough to ignore the class warfare talking points and tell the truth. Obama by contrast will sell out the middle class and even Democrats if he suits his agenda. As people watch him closely during the election process this will become more and more evident. Jimmy Carter was incompetent, but I think he at least cared about people. I can’t say the same about Obama.

Fer: Thank you for your insight and clarification. We are constantly calling Obama out and it is very difficult for me to come right out and call Mr. Obama a liar, as tempting as it is constantly to do so. I do think he possesses a fairly high level of naivete since he does not know what it is like to start and successfully run a business over years.

Your points are welcome and needed. I hope there are more of you out there (those who voted for Mr. Obama in 2008 that are now supporting Mitt Romney).

Thanks, Victor… I do agree, Obama is naive about the private sector.
I personally know a few people who were behind Obama and are now sorely disappointed. Hillary Clinton, of all people, knew him well. Being part of his cabinet, she can’t call him out now (smart move, Barrack!) But listening at her primary speeches about Obama is almost spooky now. Romney should use those more often.
    Democrats for Romney!

    Vic,
It is about TIME! We can’t take anymore Obma’s endless lies day in, day out. I’m happy that Gov Romney’s camp is ready to tell it like it is. I would like to see an ad by SuperPac or Gov Romney, though.

“In a conference call Monday morning, senior staff said Romney’s surrogates would stop shying away from the word “lie” in responding to Democrats’ attacks on his business record, and plan to go on TV to call Obama a “liar,” the source said.”
