VP Debate: Biden’s Bad-Mannered Buffoonery Blows It, Ryan Resolute

Vice President Joe Buffoonery Biden proved once again at last night’s vice presidential debate in Danville, KY, what an embarrassment he is for the United States of America. (photographer unknown)

With his derisive laughter, zombie eye-rolling, feigned incredulity, exaggerated theatrical gestures, continual interruptions, and over-all condescension, Vice Presidential smirk monkey Joe Biden negated any gains he hoped to make at last night’s V.P. debate. Biden’s performance sealed the deal for him… as the simpleton from Scranton and America’s permanent political huckster. Debate moderator, ABC’s Martha Raddatz, failed to control all-show Joe and left many yearning for Jim Lehrer.

Although GOP Vice Presidential candidate 42-year-old Rep Paul Ryan is 27 years younger than 69-year-old Biden, he was resolute, reassuring, and ready to take on the smart-aleck. Ryan was clearly the adult seated at the debate desk in Danville.

Polls from CNBC and CNN revealed Ryan won.

USA Growth & Opportunity? Vote for Romney/Ryan! Hannity Interview (VIDEO)

By Ken Catalino – Oct 5, 2012

After Governor Mitt Romney cleaned Obama’s clock at the first presidential debate in Denver, America’s Comeback Team, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, took time out from campaigning yesterday to talk with FOX News’ Sean Hannity. Here’s the interview:

Part :

Part :

We’ve seen the palpable, patriotic energy that exists between Romney and Ryan; it’s always great to see them together. Also evident is that they understand and respect each other. Competence recognizes competence. Mitt and Paul also genuinely enjoy each other’s company and that, combined with holding the House and taking back the Senate, is going to make for an outstanding, productive presidency. How fortunate we are that they are a dynamic, dynamite duo! Democrats are stuck with their two dingbats. No fluke the two of them ended up together; a knave needs another knave to cover his tracks. And, one can’t speak without a teleprompter and the other can’t be prompted to shut up.

Obama and Biden are conspiring, failed desperadoes. Without a blink, they and their fellow conspirators keep churning out lie after lie to hide that fact.

Romney/Ryan’s competence and commitment to actually solve the plethora of grievous problems Obama/Biden have foisted on us – to strengthening the principles our nation was founded on and making life better for 100 per cent of the American people – is the message we MUST broadcast non-stop.

Sununu Sets Record Straight on Obama’s Lies About Romney: Auto Bailout Attacks & More…

While Americans are cheering for U.S. athletes as they go for the gusto at the Olympic games in London (USA!) former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu continues to garner political gold on Mitt Romney’s behalf.

Sununu appeared yesterday on CNBC’s ‘Closing Bell’ with Maria Bartiromo to set the facts straight on Obama’s auto bailout attacks on Romney. Entitlement reform, taxes, the economy, and more were mentioned. As usual, solid Sununu came armed with facts and controlled the narrative.

No wonder Bartiromo couldn’t get anyone from the Obama campaign to appear with Sununu

Two days ago (July 31st) Sununu took on Juan Yawn Williams on Hannity (FOX News). Sununu ran truth circles around Williams…

“Is government the solution or the problem?” (begins @:15):

(Did you notice how Williams employed another new desperate Obama tactic? When Sununu laid out the disaster of Obamanomics, Williams attacked with a silly and ineffective “you’re-so-pessimistic-about-America-Chicken-Little” meme. Sounds like Team Obama held a few midnight beer summits to come up with that one!)

Romney on Hannity Radio: “Obama Attacks Deflect From Issues Nation Faces” / Five-Step Jobs Plan

Sean Hannity welcomed Governor Mitt Romney to his radio program yesterday to talk about an article released yesterday by the Romney press team titled The Truth Hurts. For weeks Obama and surrogates have been telling lies about Romney’s record; this fact-filled article debunks Team Obama’s despicable distortions and fabrications.

Romney called in from Grand Junction, Colorado; you don’t want to miss this excellent interview:

A few highlights from Romney…

@ 2:19 – The challenge for this president is in a lot of respects he’s an old-style Democrat; the old liberals were always in favor of more government programs, more spending, more borrowing when things were difficult. And, we’ve found that has not worked. The right course for America is not to raise taxes on people, not to go out and borrow excessively, but instead to live within our means and to have tax policies that encourage job creators and small businesses to grow their business and add employees.

@7:30 – I have a five-step plan to see jobs recover in this country.
1. Take advantage of our energy resources – oil, coal, gas, renewables.
2. Open trade – particularly in Latin America and crack down on China when they cheat.
3. Put us on track to have a balanced budget.
4. Make sure we have schools and training programs that prepare us for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
5. Restore economic freedom in this country. The taxes, the regulations, the burdens applied by government are crushing economic freedom, are crushing entrepreneurs. That has to end. We have to restore the American dream or our economy will stay in the doldrums.

@9:45 – …I would make the Bush tax cuts permanent, but then go to work to reform our tax code altogether

@11:28 – Isn’t it amazing that the President of the United States – who by the way, called me and congratulated me when I got a pretty good lock on the nomination – he called me and said, “The country is going to benefit by an honest and important debate on the future direction of the country.“ That’s what he said. And yet, what he has done has been one attack after the other on items that deflect interest from a real debate on the issues the nation faces. This most recent one suggesting that I would engage in something that is illegal, that is criminal, that I would hide assets and not pay fair taxes, not pay the taxes that are owed – I mean it’s unbelievable. He said, “Well, it’s a matter of transparency.” Well, how about the transparency of a president who through executive privilege is preventing the American people from finding out what happened in the Fast & Furious program? If there is transparency that needs to be condemned here it’s the lack of transparency in his administration to let the American people know what has happened in a scandalous activity known as Fast & Furious. So Sean, I can assure you of this – I have followed the law, I have paid my taxes as due, I have also disclosed through all the requirements of the government every asset which I own – fairly and honestly – recognizing, of course, not to do so would be not only wrong, but illegal and criminal. It is this president however, that must explain why he has resorted to executive privilege to hide from the American people the truth about Fast & Furious.

UPDATE – After delivering his speech today to the NAACP, Romney was interviewed by Neil Cavuto (FOX News). The Hill reports:

Romney also discussed the state of the campaign, downplaying concerns voiced by some Republicans that his campaign had not been aggressive enough in combating attacks from Democrats. But Romney said his campaign was better served by trying to focus on issues they saw as relevant to voters.

“I respond to the attacks that come, but they say in politics if you are responding, you are losing,” Romney said. “I think the better course for our campaign is to respond to the attacks as being completely off-base. People are tired of this petty attack that comes from politicians and they want to see someone who talks about the issues they care about.”

Romney also dismissed calls from the Obama campaign to release additional years of tax returns, calling the issue a distraction. The Obama campaign issued a new commercial Wednesday calling on Romney to disclose more information about his financial holdings.

The Democrats are always going to be critics,” Romney said. “We have released all of the financial statements required by law and two years of tax returns. The most recent year we will be releasing as soon as that’s prepared. Tax information is there, other financial disclosure is there; the same level of information that [Sens.] John McCain [(R-Ariz.)] and John Kerry [(D-Mass.)] for that matter released when they were running for president.

BREAKING: Mitt Gets the Coveted Marco Rubio Endorsement

Marco Rubio endorsed Mitt

Drudge broke the news/rumor and twitter went all a-flitter: Rubio to endorse tonight! And so tonight on the Sean Hannity show Marco Rubio made his 2012 endorsement official:

Marco Rubio stands with Mitt Romney!

The go-ahead nod from Marco Rubio is perhaps the biggest endorsement in this race since Chris Christie. It is a rally call to all conservatives that this race, though not ended, is essentially over.

Said Rubio of Romney, “he offers a stark contrast to the President’s record.”

This news is breaking… more quotes, and perhaps video, will be forth coming.

~Nate G.

VIDEO UPDATE:

FOX News’ Sean Hannity: “Up to this point, you had not jumped into the primary race. Are you endorsing Mitt Romney then?”

Senator Marco Rubio: “Well, I am going to endorse Mitt Romney and the reason why is not only because he is going to be the Republican nominee but he offers at this point, such a stark contrast to the President’s record. Look at the President’s record. This is someone who has run the country, not very well over the last three years, that has no experience beyond that doing that, at the same time, as he has no experience with the private sector or the free enterprise system. In Mitt Romney, we have a candidate, an alternative, that in addition to being successful as a governor, running an important state in this country, has also been successful in the private sector and offers a very clear alternative to the direction this president is going to take our country. I think all the candidates in this race have a lot to be proud of. They have offered a lot to the debate. But I just can’t buy into this idea that by their own admission, they are saying the only way they can win this race is by having a floor fight in Tampa in August. I think that’s a recipe to deliver four more years to Barack Obama and our country – forget about the Republican Party – our country cannot afford that. We have got to come together behind who I think has earned this nomination and that’s Mitt Romney.”

Mitt Romney:

Marco Rubio is living proof that the American Dream is still very much alive. … From humble origins, he has risen to become one of the brightest lights in our political party. He has been a leading voice in the U.S. Senate and the country for the cause of restoring American greatness. He knows that the way forward is to end excessive regulations, shrink government, and get our economy growing. He understands that the way to strengthen our communities is to strengthen our families. He recognizes the dangers that will face America if we fail to maintain our military power. He understands how critical it is to bring new leadership to the White House. Senator Rubio’s endorsement is a major milestone in my effort to make Barack Obama a one-term president. Ann joins me in thanking him for the confidence he is placing in my leadership and for the great honor he has done me today.”

Mitt was endorsed by Ivanka Trump as well:

Last night’s Hannity Show on FOX News featured Governor Romney in an interview for the entire duration of the program. I have not seen the interview yet but have only heard very good things about it on Facebook and Twitter. Enjoy!

UPDATE – Here’s another appearance from Sen. Ayotte

Hannity Snags Coveted Interview with Chris Christie After Endorsing Romney (VIDEO)

After the fantastic news yesterday – that Governor Chris Christie had endorsed Governor Mitt Romney for president – FOX News’ Sean Hannity was pleased to snag an interview last night with Christie:

Part 2:

Romney’s statement on Christie’s endorsement:

It is an honor to have Governor Chris Christie’s support,” said Mitt Romney. “Governor Christie is a national leader in the fight to reform government and cut spending. His efforts in New Jersey are an example for the rest of the country. In my campaign for president, I am fighting for these same reforms and I am humbled to have his support.”

Christie’s statement of support:

… “This is the most important election in generations. Whether we are able to fix our economy and get our country on the right track will have ramifications for decades. We cannot afford to continue on our current path. Mitt Romney has a life history of coming into struggling organizations and turning them around. Right now, we need someone like him in theWhite House to fundamentally change our economy and reverse three years of failed policies. Unlike our current president, Mitt Romney understands the economy from the inside out. Fixing the economy will not be easy, but Mitt has shown throughout his life that he has the leadership ability and expertise to lead our country toward a recovery. Republicans should recognize the importance of this election and realize that if they are serious about regaining the White House, Mitt Romney is the only candidate to back.”

Debate UPDATE:

Boston, MA – Former New Hampshire Governor and U.S. Senator Judd Gregg released the following statement on tonight’s debate in Hanover, New Hampshire:

Mitt Romney won tonight’s debate by demonstrating why he is ready to be president on day one. His experience working in the real economy and his knowledge of how jobs are created was on display tonight. In order to get our economy and country on the right track again, our next president will need that experience and leadership record. Mitt Romney has spent his life turning around struggling enterprises. Our country needs a turnaround.”
