The Des Moines Register said that Mitt Romney “offers a fresh economic vision.” When they endorsed Mitt Romney, it was the first time in forty years, the paper endorsed a Republican. In fact, Romney earned the support of every major newspaper in Iowa. It’s clear that Mitt Romney is the leader both Iowa and our nation need.
In all candor, I actually believe Barack Obama thinks most of us Americans are stupid regarding the decisions he made and his inaction regarding the Benghazi assassinations. Those four Americans absolutely knew help was on the way and that it would be just a matter of an hour or two before they would be rescued. They had no doubt we would answer the call! They knew we would never leave them high and dry. I am furious that the person we grant authority to as commander in chief would leave an American Ambassador and three other great American patriots to fight their guts out for seven hours as he watched through high definition TV screens from a drone!
We will never forget!
Barack Obama, Commander in Chief?

President Obama recently stated, if reelected, he might rustle up a Secretary of Business.
Because, when it comes to business, Obama is LOST.
Plus, tossing out that new position to the masses is a two-fer for Obama. He thinks it makes him sound smart and hopes it assuages the electorate’s fear about him right now – that he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Obama’s out-to-lunch-on-business evidence: His colossal mountain of national debt is proof. America’s pitiful downgraded credit rating is proof. His ‘shovel-ready‘ projects, er, lack thereof, is proof. His weak economy is proof. The number of desperate Americans standing in unemployment lines is proof. Americans working part-time when they fiercely need a full-time job is proof. Those who have given up – just stopped looking for a job is proof. Declining, downward middle class incomes is proof. The sad number of Americans descended into poverty is proof. The woeful number of Americans on welfare is proof. The atrocious number of U.S. citizens surviving on food stamps is proof. Swelling disability rolls are proof. His take-over socialization of health care is proof. His trade policies are proof. Onerous job-impeding federal regulations are proof. His auto bailout is proof. His squandered “stimulus” of $787 billion which America’s children and grandchildren will be forced to pay back is proof. His nix-on-anything beneath-the-ground energy policy is proof. (Federal oil drilling permits down 36%! War on coal! No Keystone pipeline! High gasoline prices! And, with the October bankruptcy of Satcon Technology Corp as many as 50 Obama-backed green energy companies have gone belly up or are wobbling!) His hoped-for tax policy is proof. His aversion to numbers, e.g., a federal budget, is proof.
Obama’s badgering, big government beliefs are bad for America. When it comes to business, our outsourcer President is agonizingly, hair-pullingly, head-bangingly daft. That’s why he’s dangling the idea of adding another bureaucrat and bureaucracy if he finagles another four.
Team Romney has released a fantastic new ad. We’ve only got five days, people. Let’s SHARE it!
Barack Obama recently said he might appoint a Secretary of Business.
His solution to everything is to add another bureaucrat.
Mitt Romney understands business and knows what it will take to create jobs and get our economy moving again.
He’s done it before.
He’ll do it again.
At this crucial, decisive time, America must have a president who UNDERSTANDS business.
America needs Mitt Romney.
UPDATE – Paul Ryan’s remarks on Obama at Greeley, Colorado today (November 1, 2012):
“He can’t run on the broken promises. He can’t run on the trillion-dollar deficits each and every year. But he did come up with a new idea the other day. He’s got a new idea for the second term, and here’s what it is. In addition to all the borrowing and all the spending and all the money printing and all the regulating, he wants a new Cabinet position. He wants to create a new secretary of business. You know, we already have a secretary of business. It’s actually called the Secretary of Commerce. That’s what this agency does. Let me ask you a question. Can anybody name our current Secretary of Commerce? You know why? We don’t have one. It’s been vacant for over four months, and the president hasn’t even proposed or put somebody in the job. We don’t need another bureaucrat or another bureaucracy.”

While weather effects of super storm Hurricane Sandy are not yet over and rescue efforts are underway, the Romney/Ryan storm relief effort continues. Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and Ann Romney have not stopped! Governor Romney was in Kettering, Ohio this morning and will be in Tampa, Florida this evening. Today, Paul Ryan will speak at a stop at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in Minnesota. He’ll then journey to his home state, Wisconsin for additional events. Ann Romney is in Wisconsin and will be in Iowa later today. All three will thank diligent volunteers who are collecting/delivering items for storm relief from Romney Victory Centers.

“We have heavy hearts as you know with all the suffering going on in a major part of our country — a lot of people hurting this morning. We’re looking for all the help we can get for all the families that need.” – Mitt Romney
Gov just held a storm relief event. Amazing showing of support of those affected by the storm. Thousands show up with donations.
★ Congressman Paul Ryan today in Wisconsin will also be joined by former Wi Gov. Tommy Thompson in stops at La Crosse and Hudson. Thompson is in a tight U.S. Senate seat race against U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin. (When additional information about Ryan’s events in Minnesota and Wisconsin are available, it will be updated here.)

Mitt Romney has criss-crossed the nation many times listening to and speaking with small business owners and everyday Americans deeply concerned about the economy. He’s pictured at such a meeting at Brewery Bar IV on June 19, 2011 in Aurora, Colorado. (Photo – John Moore/Getty)
A couple of nights ago, President Obama admitted his MATH challenges to Jay Leno. Do you think his deficiencies just might have something to do with his economic challenges? Like his bullheaded thinking that government is the engine behind America’s economy? (Notice: I did not use Obama’s “bull******” word.) What about his failure to understand that continually spending more than we take in has put us on the rickety road to ruin? Does his aversion to arithmetic prevent him from grasping that he’s added almost as much debt held by the public as all prior American presidents in history? How about the President’s choking on things like, oh… say, a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUDGET?
Take a look:
Leno: Here’s Samantha from Colorado: “When you help your daughters with their homework, is there a a subject you struggle with?” Obama: Well, the math stuff I was fine with up until about seventh grade. Leno: Yeah. Obama: But Malia is now a freshman in high school and — I’m pretty lost. Obama: Fortunately, they’re great students on their own. and, you know, if something doesn’t work, I’ll call over to the Department of Energy and see if they have a physicist to come over.
How about we call Mayflower moving company and get the math mish-masher out of the White House? We’ve got someone running for president whose passion for numbers, economic analysis, and results is part of his DNA. Undergirding it all is his passion for helping people. It’s helped him turn around failing businesses, a state in trouble, and an entire troubled winter Olympics.
★ How did Romney learn so much about numbers, economic analysis, and business? Glad you asked! Here’s how:
Romney attended Stanford University for a year before serving 30 months as a missionary for his church. He then headed to BYU (where Ann was attending) to study English and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mitt wanted to pursue a business career, but his Dad advised him that a law degree would be helpful to him, even if he didn’t become a lawyer. So, he enrolled in a grueling, newly-formed, joint four-year Doctor/Master of Business Administration program coordinated by Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School. It was a rigorous, dual course of study. (He and Ann were married by then and were busy parents to two small children. Ann also determinedly finished her undergraduate work by taking night courses at Harvard University Extension School. In 1975, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in French language from BYU.) With hard work, discipline, and dedication, Romney graduated in 1975 cum laude from the law school in the top third of the class. He was named a Baker Scholar for graduating in the top five percent in his business school class.
★ Also worth noting: We’ve got a vice-presidential candidate, Congressman Paul Ryan, who also runs arithmetic circles around Obama and Biden.
★ You’ll like this: Romney for President today launched four excellent new videos on SterlingBusinessCareer.com. If you missed it, Romney delivered a fantastic economic speech today in Ames, Iowa. Watch it here!
★ While Romney was standing with a stalwart crowd of patriotic Americans in blustery, chilly Iowa today, speaking on matters of great importance, and while further incriminating news about Benghazi was breaking, President Obama put on his suit to rock with MTV host Sway Calloway. No calling in (like he does for those pesky security council meetings); MTV deserved his presence! Listen to this hard-hitting question and how Obama rambles trying to give a presidential answer:

Unlike Barack Obama, Mitt Romney KNOWS how to create jobs…
Shining a spotlight on Governor Romney’s phenomenal achievements in the private sector, here are three NEW videos released today by Romney for President on website SterlingBusinessCareer.com.
In 1986, Mitt Romney and Bain Capital helped found Bright Horizons, a childcare business that established company-sponsored day care centers at corporations, hospitals, universities, and government agencies. By providing on-site day care, Bright Horizons makes it possible for parents to stay close to their children while at work.
Though the company did not make a profit in its first five years, Bain Capital stuck with the business to help it succeed. Today, Bright Horizons employs 20,000 workers, pays employees above-market wages, and has consistently been ranked as one of the “100 Best Companies To Work For In America.” Additionally, Bright Horizons has been a good corporate citizen by being actively involved in charitable and youth-wellness causes. First Lady Michelle Obama and others have praised Bright Horizons for serving “as an example for child care centers nationwide.”
Bright Horizons Co-Founder Doug Wooden with former employee Kim Bealieu:
Mitt Romney and Bain Capital invested in a defibrillator manufacturer facing an existential crisis following years of regulatory shutdowns. As the only investor willing to take on such a large risk, Bain Capital succeeded in turning around Physio Control and saving hundreds of jobs. Romney’s and Bain Capital’s support helped Physio Control design and distribute portable defibrillators, which have saved countless lives since their introduction in the 1990s. Unfortunately, Obamacare will place onerous new taxes on medical device manufacturers like Physio Control, killing jobs and stifling innovation.
Masland designed and manufactured components for car interiors for companies like Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Under Bain Capital’s ownership, the business took off and created hundreds of American manufacturing jobs in Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and California. Bain Capital also supported Masland’s innovative benefits program that let every worker share in the company’s success; every Masland employee received the same benefits package regardless of rank. When Bain Capital sold its stake in Masland in 1993, the business employed over 3,000 workers, and Masland’s Carlisle, Pennsylvania plant had grown into the largest automotive carpet plant in the world.
That’s what we’re talking about, America! Mitt Romney = JOBS!
