Democrat & Former Clinton Aide Endorses Romney, Rips Obama

Post-debate analysis in October gave Mitt Romney high marks for his descriptions of bipartisan work as governor and for his promises of bridging the divide created by President Obama who rarely meets with members of Congress now.

Yesterday, Hillary Clinton’s former Senate state director, Gigi Georges gave a strong endorsement of Governor Romney. Another Democrat crosses the line to run from Barack Obama. Her endorsement also carries a terse rebuke of President Obama as a failure:

“For most of my life, I’ve been an active Democrat,” said Gigi Georges. “I am proud to have worked for President Bill Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton, and, during that time, I saw firsthand what can be accomplished by strong, bipartisan leadership. I know what it means to work across the aisle on issues that are important to the American people. And that’s why I am supporting Mitt Romney. Governor Romney has a plan to restore the prosperity this country deserves and expects. He will work with people of good will no matter what their party, and he will pursue the policies that are in the best interest of our country, no matter who proposes them. That’s what President Obama promised to do four years ago. But like so many of his promises, bipartisan cooperation is just another one he has broken. We can’t have four more years of failed policies and two parties that can’t work together. We need the change Mitt Romney is offering.”

Governor Romney gave a brief statement in a press release when he announced Ms. Georges’ endorsement. Also, this website wrote this of her: “Apparently she is not aware of Romney’s War on Women.”

whohoo! the long life dems are waken up!!! Washington is BROKEN! We MUST hire Gov Romney! who’s a proven leader, compassionate, workaholic, belives in America!!

We don’t want a lazy, celebrity-in-Chief Prez Obama! Didn’t they say Obama is skipping half of the intellegence briefings. Gov figure.

    VOTE Romney/Ryan=Strong Leaders!!!

  2. Rick Ouellette says:

There is a reason Obama has always led from behind. In the event of a total retreat he could then say,”Follow Me” I am your leader. lol

  3. gloria says:

CNN has me disgusted!!! I will not watch them anymore!

  4. Rick Ouellette says:

A president Romney will go through the budget line by line and apply his test to each program. Those that do not meet the test will be eliminated. Obama promised that he would go through the budget line by line in 2008 . Of course, since he had never seen a budget , it comes as no surprise that the promise was broken. We need somone who will pare down the size of government. Thousands of useless, high level positions, need to be eliminated. Mitt Romney has done those things and knows how to balance a budget. There are tough choices to be made and we need a strong person to do what has to be done to save our country. Obama has no experience except in government and tries to solve all problems by throwing money at them instead of delving into the root cause. We cannot afford four more years of an aloof, inept administration. Go Mitt!!!

  5. Sandy says:

We will all sleep better Tuesday night if we have a leader we can trust and Obama is on his way to wherever he came from. GO MITT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gigi is not aware of any “war on woman” because it simply does not exit…the catch phrase “war on woman” is a creation from the left, part of its derisive tactics that is coupled with cheap word games. Giigi simply sees it as it is: Romney has substance while Obama has mere words…no successful record but words. Obama panders to those who believe “you can strengthen the weak by weakening the strong…” Mark Carter, an African American activist in the south side of Chicago is leading a movement that is standing up to those responsible for failing the black community for decades. We need to build up people, not lower standards to justify crony quick buck artists who cannot run a business and cannot
    build up communities…

Watch out people, if Obama wins- he will take revenge against Mitt supporters. Time to really take action. Spread the word. I already did my part here in Washington state, mailed my vote last week.

  8. Dennis Hastings says:

Polls/Shmolls, they mean little or nothing. What matters is what reality is and we all know how incompetent the current administration is regarding any semblance of common sense and decency. Believe and trust in God and each other, we’ll show up to vote in droves and together we will right this ship.

  9. Dee says:

Please everyone!! Get out and vote for Romney on Tuesday. Call all your friends, or email them & ask them to get registered and go vote. This is so crucial for our country. We are a nation in desperate need of leadership that knows what they are doing & loves America. Think about this & go online & read the articles that show that Obama was already given impeachment papers for starting a war without getting Congress’s approval. He just said, “Go to war.” How arrogant this man has been all through his time as president. Even his walk shows how arrogant & how much he thinks of himself.

I am married to a man that came from the Mormon religion. Even though they have some really bizarre beliefs, they do love God & family. They are good people & honest people. Mitt will make an excellent president.

So, please people get out & vote on Tuesday!

  10. Christine First says:

Yes please everyone that loves our Country, and the freedoms that we as Americans still enjoy, please get out and vote for Romney/Ryan on tuesday Nov 6th. We need leadership that has a positive outlook for our Country.
Leadership that loves America and wants success for all . Not success and prosperity at the expense of some. America does not need Robinhood or Mr. Hollywood as commander and chief. With President Obama we are headed full speed ahead into socialism. Our country has been a super power with a first place standing in the world, until four years ago , and now we are number seven. That should tell us something! Vote Romnsy/Ryan on tuesday! Please!

  11. Joan C. says:

I will certainly sleep better on Wed. morning if Romney is elected. I have been pulling for him since the last election. I researched each candidate in 2008. Obama frightened me and Romney was the one most qualified to run this country. I am even more frightened about four more years of Obama. I was right about him the first time. I don’t understand how he continues to fool so many Americans. We can blame the main stream media if he gets another chance to take us down. Please hold them accountable. Turn them off. CNN,ABC, NBC and MSNBC. Hold them accountable!!!!

  12. Carlo V. Crisanto says:

Im from the Philippines and doen’t have to do with US election, but I saw the biases of many Cable TV Channels, Fox News is really fair and balance. I guess the people from the other channels are getting the heat of this election, thats why they couldn’t give fair comments about this historic US election.

  13. Ann says:

Gigi is definitely a bright, educated, accomplished woman willing to change paths because she has obviously been paying attention to ALL the news, not just one side. She represents many women in America who will vote for Romney this time, and who do NOT swallow Obama’s “war on women” line. Congratulations to them; these women understand truth, use their brain, and will help restore our nation! GO ROMNEY AND RYAN!
