Count on it: Before Monday night’s last presidential debate, the Obama administration and/or the State Department will release new information surrounding the attack in Benghazi, Libya in a desperate attempt to alter the truth: That their combined efforts for a month to cover-up the fact they could have prevented the assassination of an American ambassador and three other great Americans. And the fact they all knew on September 11th the attack was a pre-planned, sophisticated, terrorist attack. The desecration of Camp David has only just begun this weekend.
The history we are witnessing right now will go down in American legacy as far more serious than anything related to the Watergate scandals. Nixon’s web of deceit was bad. Obama’s is obscene! The stain he is leaving on the Office of President is deplorable. The intelligence community is only now beginning to expose Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton after they falsely and repeatedly blamed the intelligence community for promoting the “movie-trailer video” narrative.

I saw this on Fox last night. Everyone needs to see this about what happened in Libya. Our President needs to be held accountable to the deceit and misrepresentation that was leveled on the American people. Our national security is at stake both here and abroad. We can not have a leader that we can not trust. This is very serious and must be dealt with, especially for the families that have lost the men involved. A true national tragedy. We want answers!
Thank goodness for the social media, Twitter in particular. If the world had to rely on the mainstream media for objective news and information we would never know the truth about this administration. Those who don’t watch Fox News are either blinded by what they hear from liberal sources, don’t care about knowing the truth, or don’t want to know the truth. Social media largely substantiate Fox News being far more honest and objective than CNN, MSNBC, and other ‘mainstream media’ outlets. The documentary “Media Malpractice” is a great example of investigative journalism where honest journalists expose the collusion of mainstream media with liberal elements in society to install liberals and even socialists in positions of power, especially in elected government office. If it weren’t for the widespread use of social media this media collusion with liberals and their corrupt agendas would never be exposed to the light of day, let alone public scrutiny. This article rightly posits that not one rational person would vote for Barack Obama if they knew the truth about him and his administration.
I recorded the Fox program last night and watched it today. My heart is broken over this horrible act of terrorism could have been stopped. I can’t imagine what the families are going through. Since the Obama people are so dedicated to women’s issues, I hope they “come clean” for the sake of these mothers, widows, daughters, sisters, and other women who loved them!

Last night when I watched this , I reached the boiling point . Being a mom , and a “mama Bear ” type , There is no way I would remain silent . It seems that shortly after the attack , one of those murdered phoned or emailed someone that they were not sure they would survive the night . How they must have felt there …… being led there , a trap that should have not existed . …….. the terrible violence they experienced . Those who prepared the President for this debate must have said ……. please put in a request to Candi to hold off on that part of the debate , so the clock is beginning to run out . Then when I am in a tight spot and being asked to say yes or no in front of millions of viewers , I will just say ” Read the transcripts ” and Candi will have them ready to hold up and salute , and say yes President and he will be ready to say “Candi . can you repeat that ?” He knew that the question had to come up and they had to be ready , ……. to have a plan to convince us , as if we are a bunch of dummies . He’s the President and he can make things disappear , he thinks . Wrong ! As as for Mrs Clinton , I think she has a history ? Didn’t some mysterious things happen during the Clinton era ? I know they wish all of us elderly folks will soon die off so we cannot remind the young adults of historical events and they can influence our children and charm them , but ,….. because of your prayers and fasting , things can come about in ways none of us could ever imagine , things can become more clear to those who are pure in heart and are searching for answers …….Keep praying and fasting ……..they are powerful weapons !
Obama clearly lied for political reasons.
A. Obama’s Administration knew, or reasonably should have known, additional security was desperately needed.
1. The multiple requests from the Ambassador for additional security are in writing, and public;
2. The State Department now admits they made a mistake.
3. Col. Woods security team in Libya was removed, against
his strong and repeated protests to the Administration.
4. Libya continued as a dangerous hot spot, with ongoing bombings and attacks. the Red Cross and others pulled out because it was unsafe there.
5. For political reasons, Obama wanted to defraud the voting public that Libya was “normalizing” and there were no “terrorists,” as his “proof” that his foreign policy was working. The Administration therefore intentionally rejected providing security and other necessary steps.
6. Obama’s attempts to paint Libya as “safe” intentionally put Americans lives into danger.
B. Obama’s Administration lied about knowing this was an act of terror
1. Those being attacked in the Embassy were in constant contact DURING THE ATTACK BY RADIO with the military, the State Department, and therefore by the chain of command the White House. The Administration were actually listening live to the attack. Period. (We have satellite radios and instant communications now, remember?)
2. Real time videos from the security cameras in the Embassy of the attack were being viewed in Washington by the State Department and intelligence community AS IT HAPPENED! They were able to literally watch the attack on the security cameras , live, as it happened. Period.
3. Those under attack also radioed the military and other intelligence in the area. The Pentagon knew. They flew in additional troops, but it was too late. The chain of command stops at the White House. Period.
C. For purely political reasons, Obama set up a shell game smoke screen to mislead the American votes what happened.
1. Obama has misled Americans, saying that “…I got Osama, so it’s over, I did it…my ‘foreign policy’ is working” ; Obama does not want us to know that he has failed simply because he cares more about being reelected than he cares about providing the national security that is the President’s responsibility.
2. Admitting that additional security was needed would have admitted he failed. So Obama and Secretary Clinton refused additional security to Libya, putting Americans in deadly danger.
3. Admitting that these were obviously planned and professional terrorists showcased Obama’s failures
D. For purely political reasons, the Obama Administration set out the shell game to keep the voters’ attention away from their failures —–they spin the story that this was not something anyone saw coming because it was a “spontaneous mob responding to a utube video….” and it was not a failure of Obama because there were no “terrorists” involved (only an angry utube spontaneous mob.)
E. The Obama Administration, having the almost instant information that it was a terrorist attack, just as the Ambassador feared and many predicted, intentionally made up the lie that it was a “mob” spontaneously stirred up by an obscure utube video that was 3 months old.
F. This lie was orchestrated and spread by Obama.
1 UN. Ambassador Rice went on FIVE TALK SHOWS RIGHT AFTER THE ATTACK AND REPEATED THE EXACT LIE (DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE SHE WOULD GO ON FIVE NATIONAL SHOWS AND STATE THAT UNDER THIS SERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE IF SHE HAD NOT HAD THE PERMISSION OF THE WHITE HOUSE?)
2. Secretary Clinton repeatedly announces the same lie at several press conferences, AND AT THE ARRIVAL OF THE BODIES –SHAME ON YOU CLINTON. (DO YOU THINK SHE WOULD HAVE CARRIED THAT STORY AROUND WITHOUT THE PRESIDENT’S APPROVAL?)
3. Obama wobbles between “we are still investigating what happened” and “we must apologize to the murdering mob for this awful utube video” — as if this murder was OUR fault ! (OBAMA DID THIS AS PART OF HIS SHELL GAME; BECAUSE OF THE REAL TIME RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE ATTACK, OBAMA HAD TO HAVE KNOWN. HIS SHAMEFUL OBFUSCATION IS OBVIOUSLY PART OF A LIE MACHINE. no other logical explanation.)
4. Obama goes before the UN. Does he speak about terrorism? No. Does he ask for resolutions to find and deal with the murder of a US Ambassador? NO.
Does he do anything to help American security? NO.
What he does is , over and over, repeat the smoke screen lie he is releasing that we are so sorry that this happened because of our awful utube video. He repeats that story several times. Obama never condemns the murder or ask for UN help to correct it. Never says it is an act of terror. Even though a “stump in a swamp” could have figured out what happened and known how to act as President of the United States. Instead, Obama uses the UN , his “World Order” ally, to publish his lie to the world.
5. As part of Obama’s smoke screen scheme to create a shell game to protect his campaign, Obama TRIES TO MAKE ALL THIS AS NOTHING:
a. He acts like nothing is happening by doing nothing
(no request to lower flags, no national cathedral funeral, no week of mourning, no call of the security team to the White House, no press conference, no nationally televised statement from the Oval Office, nothing of leadership, nor Presidential. ) (Reagan bombed them the next day the last time this happened!)
b To make it look like nothing, Obama goes to Vegas for a fundraiser, goes on “The View” as he said “as eyecandy…”
goes on “Letterman” and ACTS AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED.
Michelle goes on “Jay Leno.” Same old constant campaigning. Look at the smoke and mirrors “folks nothing to worry about here….”
6. As additional proof Obama is lying, and is trying to deceive the American voters, ask yourself why the Administration delayed investigating the crime scene?
a. Joe Biden limply tried to defense of “…we didn’t know” and “we are still investigating this” and “we will get the attackers” EVEN THOUGH IT IS OBVIOUS THE ADMINISTRATION HAD TO KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.
b. Obama has repeated “we will get to the bottom of this” yet we are told the crime scene WAS NOT SECURED.
It took a CNN reporter to look over the scene and to find the Ambassador’s Diary. No Administration investigation team went to the Embassy.
c. Surely the Administration (Seal teams, etc.) could have immediately secured the crime scene and provided extensive investigation. Instead, 3 weeks later, Obama and Biden are saying “we did not know” and “we are looking into it…” but claimed it was too “dangerous to send in investigators…”
d. FOX NEWS had a video team in the Embassy. But the President does not know what happened, and cannot issue a truthful statement on national t.v.

Just listened to the “not optimal” comment again from The Daily Show. I wonder what the president meant when he added “and we’re gonna fix it.” Seems to me that it’s too late to “fix anything” for the four brave Americans who were killed and those who mourn them.

Fort Hood was as big a cover up as Libya. The shooter was leaving a trail of warnings that were being completely ignored because of Obama’s policies. No one was allowed to question this man because he was Muslim. They knew he was radical and communicating with terrorist. Instead they lost American lives. Then it was called work place violence. What an outrage! They knew that this man was dangerous for more than a year. Now the dead soldiers do not get their due respect and medals because we have to be politically correct. Obama practices political correctness out of fear. His administration ignores the fact that other religions are criticized and made fun of, but they don’t apologize. Instead of standing by the principles of freedom of speech, they apologized for a video to demonstrators in Cairo who used it as an excuse to commit violence. Obama has to protect his worldview that the cause of anti-American Islamic Extremism is a corrupt US foreign policy. They blame a so called bully styled rhetoric of George W Bush and his criticism of dictators that give sanctuary to terrorist. Even the words terror and evil are off limits.

Obama feels corrupt dictators have the potential of being good, so he extends a hand to them, practices political correctness out of fear, does not use what he feels is harsh rhetoric, all part of his soft styled foreign policy. But it hasn’t worked.
And now Libya. Obama has stated at the Democratic National Convention and also at his campaign stops that Al Qaeda is on the run and nearly defeated. But the Obama Administration is in a panic because, Al Qaeda has surfaced in a high profile news story. Al Qaeda is connected to the murders in Benghazi. If Obama would not try to paint a false narrative about the current state of terrorism to his supporters, he would not find himself in this situation. But unfortunately he not a man of character. He has used a false narrative to protect his world view and his political life.
Should we believe that Obama is not aware of Al Qaeda’s current activities….car bombings etc. Is Obama not aware that Al Qaeda has moved into other regions in North Africa and the Middle East? Is he very naive or deceiving his supporters until after the election. I believe the latter.
Mitt Romney must expose this dishonesty and faulty world view by Obama and his administration in the next debate. We need a leader who understands our mission in the world, and who is pragmatic, honest, with the right vision and course for our Country.

At the outset, let me say that I’m a registered Republican. I’ve seen this entire Fox News report as well as the original videos of Obama, Clinton, Susan Rice, and Jay Carney make their statements or get interviewed. Without any biases and with a hat of impartiality on my head, I must say that this Fox News report has stripped out only small pieces from the original videos, leaving out critical statements and thereby the full context. The end result is that this Fox News report is entirely misleading and deceiving and propagating lies. I am astounded at all the rhetorical rants here and on FB that seem completely baseless and far removed from any truth. I am sure you folks have some intelligence to distinguish deceit and lies from truth and honesty and not say things that are divisive and harmful to the country. You’re not displaying it here. Call me whatever you wish and rant against me whatever way you want but with this sort of thing, I’m ashamed to say I’m a Republican.
The comment(s) about the “not optimal” words from Obama are again being taken out of context via a process of slicing and dicing words out of the full response. If you listen to that interview carefully, he did not say that it was not optimal to have four Americans killed. He said that the response to the American people was not optimal given that four Americans were killed. Such twisting of statements and repeating them multiple times doesn’t make lies into the truth.
Here is what Rice actually said to ABC News. Notice that she talked about extremists. I think this was a very reasonable response.
RICE: “Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous — not a premeditated — response to what had transpired in Cairo. In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated.
We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to — or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo. And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons, weapons that as you know in — in the wake of the revolution in Libya are — are quite common and accessible. And it then evolved from there.
We’ll wait to see exactly what the investigation finally confirms, but that’s the best information we have at present.”

Thanks for the comment. See my intro statement at the very beginning of the post. The Obama administration is in the process of doing the Michael Jackson moon walk backwards. It is a feeble attempt to alter facts.
As to the FOX piece. I would agree covering every last detail in a 45-minute program (one hour less commercials) is difficult at best and the result would be the necessary omission of certain details. I believe I speak for most Americans in my assessment of the simple overview. Here is how I see it:
Mr. Obama is the commander in chief. The number one most important role of the CIC is to protect Americans from foreign enemies. There is no other more important responsibility. None.
Mr. Obama completely abrogated his responsibility in this regard by negligence. Pure and simple. Any passive student of intelligence reports since the original 9/11 knows there is no greater target/risk than the anniversary of 9/11. NONE. As a result, this date is locked in forever as a date necessary to protect key foreign and domestic targets: Malls, airports, embassies, consulates, etc….. That is simple..It is basic.
In a two minute directive, Mr. Obama could have easily ordered all ambassadors to not do any traveling outside their embassies three days before and three days after the anniversary. He could have taken other simple security measures to ensure the 9/11 targets were completely protected on this key date. He chose not to do that. I believe most Americans know this and will hold him directly accountable for such lazy governance. That is the first issue.
The second issue is that Obama has done everything in his power this cycle to get out the narrative that “al Qaeda is on its heels” as he has said many times. The Fort Hood shooting for instance was not a terror attack; it can’t be if terrorism is all but defeated. He then goes out in speech after speech for two weeks telling the world what he knew was completely false. That the consulate attack somehow had something to do with an obscure movie trailer. He thinks Americans are dumb. And rather than stay home to work hard and dig in to get the truth, he decides to go to Vegas and The View and states there he is “just eye candy.” These decisions by the man are not at all insignificant.
The two things we have heard describing the Obama administration these past five weeks is that it is either lying to Americans or it is wholly incompetent. That there is no other option.
You and others can look for the nuanced, new story. Doing so does not change the fact that Mr. Steven’s death is the first assassination of an American ambassador in over three decades and it did not have to happen. He all but pleaded for additional security of many weeks leading up to the attack and even on the actual day of the attack! Obama’s complete laid back approach to this is simply obscene.
You referenced the John Stewart show. Forget the transcript. Watch his eyes in the replay of the video. Mr. Obama could not care less about those lives. He is completely and wholly insensitive in his responses there. The mere fact he is making the rounds on comedy shows itself is wholly insensitive in such a major tragedy.

I find it hard to believe that a 45 minute video could not include around 20 secs more from each interview (for a total of less than 2 mins overall). There was plenty of time and I won’t buy that excuse. It was intentional slicing, just like the ‘you didn’t build that’ incident, for eg.
Granted that Obama could have ordered all ambassadors to not travel. But before we debate whether he did that or not, are our ambassadors not responsible and mature leaders who know what the right thing to do is, esp on such an anniversary ? Do they need to be micro managed ? If Washington had some intelligence about a specific pending attack which was withheld, that would be a different matter.
Are you sure Stevens did not make a bad judgment ? Could he not have held his meetings that day in Tripoli or ended earlier and gone back to Triploi ? I’m just raising these questions so we look at it from all sides.
If we want to not give Obama any credit for killing bin Laden, fine, but I don’t think anyone has said that Al Qaeda is decimated, else we wouldn’t still be doing the dreaded drone attacks on Al Qaeda. Has Al Qaeda claimed this Benghazi attack or do we have any proof that it was done by them ? Besides speculation, I don’t think I’ve seen anything else in the media. Several other Libyan terrorist groups with or without so called Al Qaeda affiliation have been quoted.
I’m sorry but I’m not the type of person who tries to imply too much from eye movements in a TV show. Sounds a whole lot like baseless conjecture to me. Stewart asked a serious question and it was a serious answer.
If Republicans are serious about the country, they should analyze from all sides and offer constructive suggestions, not one-sided misleading and deceptive attacks.
That last line made me laugh. The democrats and Obama could not tell the truth about anything if they tried.. They lie about Romney. I am sorry to tell you this but if Bush had been president when this happened, he would have immediately held a press conference and talked to the American people. He would have been sincere and not on his way to a fundraiser. Mitt will unite this country and work across the isle. We have not seen this in four years. Obama is too inexperienced and too insecure to work with anyone. I was a democrat before Carter. A republican after Reagan was elected. The JFK’s of the democratic party no longer exist. I haven’t seen any real facts so far that the Dems are lying on this. Sliced and diced video/audio doesn’t give truth.
And thanks for the reciprocal laugh regarding radicals. Is the GOP immune from radicals ? Not what I’m seeing – it seems even worse there.

As to the word “lying.” Let’s say there has been no lying. Fine, Obama, Clinton, and everybody involved never lied in the process. Fine.
The only other alternative is incompetence. There have been dozens of op-eds (from the Right & Left) in the last six weeks stating this, more or less in these words:
“Either those involved in the administration are lying or they are completely incompetent.”
Why would so many writers arrive at such a simple conclusion? Surely there are many other possible explanations for a cover-up of such magnitude, right?
And remember this Ashbee: Mr. Obama never takes responsibility for anything. Sure, he said he is responsible for this fiasco, but with Obama, what does that really mean? Really? He no sooner would take real responsibility for this than he would if the bin Laden raid had failed. He set up that raid for the SEAL admiral to take direct accountability if it failed. That is well documented. And it fit his entire first term approach to failure: “That was due to what I inherited and it was Bush’s fault.” If he were to get a second term, he would continue to blame Bush.
So, the answer according to you for the whole Libyan mess is complete incompetence, right? There is absolutely zero evidence of any kind that the attack was sparked by a movie trailer. None. Yet, for over two weeks, every person associated with the administration was singing from the very same sheet of music stating categorically that the only evidence they had was that it was caused by a movie trailer.
President Johnson dropped out of a run for a second term largely due to a complete loss of credibility from the American public on his messaging on Vietnam. We can all look back and say whatever we want that he never lied to the American citizen. Fine. Johnson never lied. Okay, but he dropped out of the race for a second term because he knew he had virtually lost all credibility and did not want to face the fact at election. (see op-ed on this topic in today’s WSJ).
The difference here is not lying. We can say Obama did not lie. Fine. If those in his administration are not lying, then they are all incompetent.
If incompetence is not acceptable to you either, what is a viable alternative to lying or incompetence for this mess that just keeps growing? So far, I have not seen one written opinion on the Left or the Right regarding a third explanation.
By the way, this very same scenario was happening in the Iran-Contra affair with Reagan. Only difference is he did not let it get very far. Reagan went on national TV and said in effect,
“I did not know any of what was going on in this operation, but I should have. This happened on my watch and in my administration. I should have known about this and I take full responsibility for everything associated with it.”
Almost over night, the issue went away because he took action to correct the wrongs and the American people forgave him. The American people never forgave Johnson and Obama will never ask for forgiveness because, as a narcissist, he cannot.

If you’re implying that Obama, and together with him, the entire chain of command in the State Dept, FBI, CIA, WH, and military are incompetent, it’s a bit hard to fathom and digest. Really ?
Why are we not letting the investigation complete as Condi also suggested ? Because it won’t be done before Nov 6th ?
You didn’t give me your thoughts to my earlier point about why Stevens was in Benghazi that night and didn’t take precautions from his side. Did anyone anywhere know that he was in a room getting asphyxiated ? Does anyone know if he tried to contact anyone from that smoke filled room and was rejected help ? I think imaginations are running a bit wild here. I realize this is all politics but be a bit credible please.
You people are idiots. I was in many countries working in intelligence. I am glad I can finally say that this was a CIA operation. The CIA could not use U.S. military security, as that would have compromised operational security…the State Department would have needed to know too many details. Not to mention military involvement just scares away the bad guys. The consulate was bait, in my opinion. The annex was the true headquarters for operations, and they just used the consulate as a reason to be there… covering as security. They hired former U.S. special forces with recent top secret access that were also read into human intelligence programs, as is common, and then local security… all with DoD money, not State. That is your first clue it was a CIA mission. Ambassadors are State Department, and security would have normally been paid for by them. The CIA was most likely there because Al-Qaeda was massing to avenge the death of Yahya al-Libi. The consulate was an easy target… heck, it had already been hit. the CIA would not have planned on an attack like this, and felt for most situations it had plenty of security. These terrorists, at this level (who they would have sent) are really smart. They were likely planning an operation sometime down the road, then the video appeared in Egypt, and they thought… perfect opportunity. I would be surprised if they did not use the video at all, but either way, it was not planned out long. They pulled together militia members that leaned radical, and got them all riled up. Then they attacked. I doubt the CIA could have had that many people on the ground, and missed anything planned more than 2 days out. Really, you are talking militia here folks. They talk and brag. The CIA had one botched campaign out of an untold amount and everyone goes crazy. They probably have saved hundreds, if not thousands of lives by unraveling plots, killing, and capturing these guys over the last decade. Now, because of one isolated indecent they are going to have to end many missions like this one to meet a new security protocol. Way to go. You are all real patriots. Just because you think you have the right to know every detail and hate this president, you want to do a dance and cry. Now, when they are trying to keep quite to go after those responsible, which I assume some of them were captured in Yemen recently, you are demanding full disclosure. You simply think your own government wants nothing more than to destroy your country. My advice is move if you think the entire government is so out of whack. By the way… Romney started getting intel briefs a little while back… notice how he is keeping his mouth shut on this topic since then… Maybe you should follow his lead on that. I think Romney would be in the exact same boat if president right now. The CIA makes mistakes daily, but they do far more good than bad. This president may not be perfect, but I think, he has done a good job keeping the wolves off the farm. When were we last living in fear of a terror alert? What color was the alert yesterday?
