Announcing MRC’s New Campaign: I’m comMITTed!

committed to romney badge

When we launched MittRomneyCentral.com a little over three years ago we had just one purpose in mind: help Mitt Romney become elected President of the United States. In order to achieve that goal, we have worked hard to build our audience by providing an attractive website, informative daily updates, cutting-edge SEO, and outreach into the social media platforms. We continue to have great success and daily growth on Twitter (26K followers) and Facebook (76K likes). Each day we have several thousand return visitors to our website – some of the most engaged, informed and supportive fans of the Romney-Ryan team.

Building an audience is key to reaching our goal – but followers, fans, Facebook likes, and daily visitors are NOT the measuring sticks by which we will gauge our success. Our end purpose is not to entertain insatiable minds with news and commentary.

The purpose of MittRomneyCentral.com is to spur engaged readers into engaged volunteers.

It is an unfortunate reality that so many who are concerned with politics never do anything more than wring their hands with nervous hope that the things that matter will take care of themselves. They won’t, unless we act.

My hope is that YOU, the reader, will:

  1. Contemplate your ability to contribute time and/or money
  2. Have the willingness to act accordingly
  3. Act now!

The time to delay and procrastinate has passed! No more cheering from the sidelines. No more excuses… It is time to get comMITTed!

ComMITTed to putting this country on a course of financial stability!
ComMITTed to handing our posterity a country not burdened with crushing debt!
ComMITTed to fighting the ills of liberalism, starting with firing Barack Obama!
ComMITTed to saving the future of this great country we love!
ComMITTed to do everything you can to elect Romney-Ryan on November 6th!

Today we launch this campaign with the hope that all of you will take that crucial last step to activism. We have a static page dedicated to providing information on ways you can best serve the campaign. GET STARTED HERE: http://MittRomneyCentral.com/comMITTed

As part of the “I’m comMITTed” campaign, we will also post daily highlights from volunteers, details of Romney campaign events in swing states, and continued instructions of how you can help. Look for more posts later today, and each day up until election day.

    Excellent, Nate!

Calling all supporters of liberty and constitutional principles our nation was founded on… Don’t just complain, wish, talk, or ‘chat’; DO all within your power to elect Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

As V.P. candidate Paul Ryan says “LET’S GET THIS THING DONE!

  5. Cathy says:

Love the new ComMITTed site with MRC. Since we all need to do our part to get Mitt elected, I’ll post some of my ideas… Everybody get innvolved…

Do you ever feel this way and say …”Sometimes I feel so helpless and want to do more. What can I do to support Mitt Romney and help get him elected?”

    Here’s 11 simple ways to make a difference…

1.Comment on ANY and ALL posts that are for or against Mitt. Search out sites to comment on and don’t be afraid to speak up! Now’s not the time to be shy.

2.Donate what you can to Mitts campaign…$3. $5. $10. Go without that cup of coffee or soda and send that in. Every little bit helps to get ads out.

3.Wear a “ Mitt” shirt, hat, bag, anything with name recognition when you go out. (Many have come up to me and said “I’m so glad you’re for Mitt too, and I live in Ca.”).

4.Display a permanent or temporary “Mitt” decal, sign, or bumper sticker. Display it especially while you drive around.

5.Convert at least one Democrat or undecided to Mitts side. Talk to a neighbor, co-worker, someone online, family member, student etc.

6.Have a neighborhood, church, family, or friend picnic, and find out what others are doing to advance the cause. Strength in numbers, so you don’t feel alone.

7.Contact you local Republican Party headquarters and see what can be done. Make calls from home, send out flyers, man a shift in call center, pass out yard signs etc.

8.Listen to the speeches of Mitt and Paul, so you know the talking points when talking to others.

9.Write into media, organizations, blogs that misrepresent, edit quotes, and lie about Mitts message. They need to know they can’t get away with it.

10.Pass along ALL e-mails you get with positive messages about Mitt, ESPECIALLY to the Democrats and undecided in your address book. Always add, to pass the message along to everyone in their address book as well.

11.PRAY, yes a powerful tool to calm, connect and comfort us to carry-on with hope, determation, and resolve. (This is the most important one).

Please add any more ways to help Mitt. This election is truly a matter of getting out of our easy chair and replacing the “empty chair” with a leader that values this country.

  7. Those are very good suggestions Cathy. Might I add one thing though? That efforts will be of greatest effect if they can be someone directed at the swing states.

  8. Cathy says:

Yes, Nate, go the extra mile in those swing states. We need a huge effort put forth there. I’m in Ca. and want to do whatever I can from here, so I do a lot of blogging, commenting and anything else I can do. We need a big push now. Don’t let up. Victory is ahead.

  9. Sheri Christensen says:

I just spent an hour making phonecalls. It asks for who the people are voting for. Options are : 1) Barak Obama & Mitt Romney 2) Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan 3) undecided 4) refused to answer . Something like that. Anyway, the 1st one has to be a misprint. Obviously Mitt Romney is not running with Barak Obama. My phone calls were being made to Colorado. I just wanted someone to know that it needs to be corrected! I didn’t know how to let them know.

  10. hunibuni2 says:

YES!!VOTER CONTACT is MOST IMPORTANT from now on to Nov. 6. If U are not in a swin State, try to go to a swing state and help out. If U go to Mitt’s web site, it will direct you. If you cannot do that, then find your local Romney office and walk a precinct for MITT. That door to door contact is VERY important. Take signs and bumper stickers W/ you and ask if they will put a sign in their yard and a sticker on their car, or truck.
Gather at least 6 to 10 people and go to a busy street corner and wave signs for Mitt. That is FUN and it gets his name in front of the public. Good times are7 AM to 9 am and 4:30 to 6:30 in the evening when people are coming from work! Can make big signs.
