The Threats Are Growing. The Economy Isn’t: Romney 2

Rasmussen’s daily edged up 1 for Romney, for a 2 point overall lead among likely voters, and as Jay Cost notes, the real news avalanche is decisively against the president.
The threat of Islamist terror is growing. The threat from Iran is growing. The threat of increasing joblessness is growing. The threat to the dollar is growing. China and Russia – more growing threats. Now there is rioting in Indonesia.
And the media obsess on inside-the-campaign-baseball whether it is alleged drama about the Romney campaign’s Stuart Stevens or the president’s Svengali Valerie Jarrett.
Only in the increasingly bizarre world of Manhattan-Beltway elite media is the tale of two speeches at the GOP convention big news as the Middle East slides towards war in no small measure brought about by American weakness. (Here is the short form, btw: Romney advisor Stevens ordered up a speech from very smart guy Pete Wehner. Romney, per usual, decided to write his own, demonstrating again a seriousness that POTUS does not have as well as a talent that totally eludes the president.)
The polls have already turned in the wake of the atrocity and disasters last week. MSM remains a good ten days behind any real news curve, but the voters are not behind that curve. That’s the story: A failing, flailing president whose designated spokesperson for the weekend had to declare “We are not impotent.”

A PLEA for all you in the 8 SWING states (Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, Colorado, No. Carolina, Virginia, New Hampshire)
As a conservative women, and one of millions, from blue, Democratic states (mine is Ca.), our vote has been predetermined (against our voting will), to send all it’s electoral votes in favor of Obama. This makes me feel VERY angry and entirely helpless in making a difference in this election. It’s like saying since 51% of you want a liberal state, then 49% of you don’t count, and have to go along with us no matter what your values are. This is not fair or right but it’s the law right now. I do wish we would go only to the popular vote and majority wins for presidential elections. Maybe some day.
So, I feel helpless, but I’m reaching out to you in the 8 swing states, to represent the multi millions of us that can’t change the outcome in our states. YOU are the ones we are counting on. YOU are our voices, YOU are our vote, YOU are our only hope. YOU determine where the country will go in the next 4 years. YOUR vote is like voting ten thousand times for us. Please don’t take this lightly. Please don’t think your vote won’t matter. Please make sure you vote, no matter what it takes (I’ll come out and drive you to the polling booth if need be).
When you go to the voting booth, think of the thousands of people that have their faith in you, their hands on your shoulder and their heart speaks to yours. Do you know YOU are in thousands of prayers? Think of your children and their children. Think of the kind of America you want for them. This is the most important election in history, and we are PRAYING that you will do your part and vote.
From the multi millions of us conservative voters trapped and silenced in blue states, please hear our PLEA to you. Your vote just may be the vote that gets us over the top, to represent our conservative values and elect the best man for that job. Mitt Romney is that man. You have all of our fate in your hands. Please use those hands to pull the lever in favor of Mitt Romney and other conservative legislators. Our country, our freedom, and our lives depend on you.

yeah, we’re not impotent. Is Susan Rice out of her f… mind? She ain’t John Bolton. okay! There’s a rumor that she’s taking Hillary’s place. I hope it is a joke and won’t happen anyway. No 2nd term for the incompetent.
This’s the same gaddamn women who were a cheerleader for Rwandan genocide in Bubba’s admin. Susan Rice should’t be qualified to be UN ambassador in the 1st place and speak about human rights. She has ZERO credibility. NONE. Com’n this idiot was the bystander for 800,000 killing in Rwanda just in one week then. This wacko hangs out @ UN with a bunch of dictators, murderes, corrupted indiviudals, she’s getting the worst of all. Oh, i get so angry every time i hear her name. I don’t know how she sleeps at night.
Thanks Cathy – I live in one of those swing states – Florida, and believe me, I will be at early voting and taking everyone I know that will vote for Romney with me. We do take it seriously and will let not let the country down. I am going to even work on the campaign to help out in any way I can! I hope everyone reads your comments and takes it to heart! Also, go see 2016 the movie, it is a real eye opener for those that do not already know the facts!
Mitt Romney should be ahead of Barack Obama in every poll in the nation, but unless he sheds his Mr. “Nice Guy” stance, grows some balls, and takes it to Obama, in words the democrats understand, he is going to lose this election. Obama and his cronies are the most dishonest, despicable, gutter crawling campaigners in history. If Romney doesn’t begin fighting fire with fire, he going to get his ass burned!!
Obama was way up in the months of January and February largely from people not knowing Mitt Romney as a candidate yet. Romney was also attacked in the RNC Debates. Mitt Romney’s best months have been May-August staying on the offensive. This chart moves Obama ahead in September. I agree with Cathy Romney out campaigning this week for money to keep advertisements up in swing states is a good thing. Let Obama gamble with foreign affairs.
Thanks Cathy, I hope your plea is heard.. we need more people to listen & look around to what is happening.. I re-posted your blog on my FB so others will see… I hope and pray we can get Romney / Ryan in for I believe they are honest and will help American get back to the grass roots again.
To all EMOTIONAL voters: Time to stop believing the tripe you hear from Obama and his teleprompter speeches lying about Romney! Time to read and listen to facts from reliable sources (not the mainstream media), and look at a Debt Clock. Those 16 trillion dollars got there from FAILED Obama economics! Our 4 American diplomats were killed because Obama was out campaigning instead of calling our reliable Marines to beef up security at our embases on the anniversary of 9/11; especially since he had been doing an “end zone dance” all summer bragging about “his” victory over Osama BenLaden! Way to “fire up” the radical terrorists then leave our Americans exposed! Who in their right mind would ignore their responsibilities like that? If you feel emotion, may it be for those 4 men and their families, not for Obama’s excuses. Mitt Romney would NOT have let our Americans be unprotected like that!
Cathy, I’m in CA too .. and feel the same way! But even though we are on the “left” coast, we can do our best to reach out (through the phone bank, blogs, tweets, etc.) as you have done .. none of us have the luxury of sitting back and feeling helpless .. we need to energize those in the states (which is most of them) that are not quite so far gone as ours. And you better believe that I’ll be dragging my friends and family to the polls on Election Day, even here in CA! Thanks for your post, Cathy!
I am convinced we need a “Chick-Fil-A” or Prop. 8 type of moment. We need to be on the streets with Romney signs so those in the middle can see millions of middle Americans supporting our next Potus! Let’s start a movement for some Saturday in October all across this country. We must not fail.
Thanks Annette and Ann. I appreciate your support and encouragement. Sometimes you just feel so alone and wonder why others can’t see the forest-for-the-trees. Yes, we all can help Mitt in many ways and my way is to post things I think will motivate others into action…as well as myself.

Lisa, Sorry I missed you. Thanks for responding and being so willing to do all you can in Florida. I know many are doing a wonderful job, but this is just so important I had to pour my heart out and hope people out there would read and be motivated. Bless you all for working so hard….If we go down, we’ll go down fighting.( But I don’t plan to go down). We will win, because we have the truth on our side.

Cathy, I will also post your comment on my FB page. I live in Nevada and we formed a grassroots group called Nevada Patriots for Romney/Ryan. I would like to give you specifics on what we do to help Mitt here in Vegas but I don’t want to give an idea to the Obamamaniacs. Keep the faith. We all need to pray on a daily basis to open the eyes of those who are being misled by all the lies they hear from the liberals. That is the best way we can defeat Obama in addition to our efforts. You are not alone because there are a lot of like-minded individuals who are fighting with you to take our country back. On November 6, we will prevail because we are right.

Some states, such as California are being governed like Greece. The rest of us are going to be dragged down by Obama and his Socialist ideas. The states that are doing the best all have Republican governors. They believe in freedom from government. If we get Obama for four more years we are going down. Obama care alone will bankrupt the country.
