Artist Jon McNaughton’s Painting: ‘Obamanation’, 60 Symbols of Failure

‘Obamanation’ – By artist Jon McNaughton

Artist Jon McNaughton, who made a name for himself in the world of politics a couple of years ago when he finished painting The Forgotten Man, is debuting a new piece titled Obamanation.

In the following video, McNaughton explains his latest interactive painting which includes 60 symbols that capture the “Obamanation” of the Barack Obama Presidency:

McNaughton:

I am just one person, a citizen of this country using my first amendment rights to speak out through my art. This is my declaration that we have never had a president do more to harm our country than Barack Obama.

When I started I wondered if I could put everything he’s done into a single painting. I included over 60 symbols that represent his failures as our President far more than I originally anticipated. All of these symbols are based on fact and linked on my website to credible new sources. To those who would scoff or trivialize this painting, I challenge you to go to my website and study the interactive map and read the sources. No American can analyze these symbols and learn about these facts and in good conscious vote for Barack Obama in 2012. Some people may say this painting is controversial and disturbing but it’s worth it if it will wake up even a single American – because this painting is a representation of Obama’s presidency.

By the way, have you seen the movie 2016: Obama’s America?

It’s amazing and inspiring to see so many American citizens rise up to use their talents through music, film, art, the written word, spoken word, blogging, etc to help get the truth out about Obama to save our republic.

McNaughton is so talented. He had to have put many, many hours into creating this piece of artwork. As he states on his website:

What do you hope to accomplish?
Someone once said, “there is nothing more irritating than being awaken from a sound sleep” — I hope to wake up a few. If anyone is undecided about voting for Obama, please study the painting, take the challenge, share it with your friends and help us to expose this man and vote him out of office this November.

Are you doing this for the money?
“No. I paint what is important to me, but I know there are many who feel the same as I do about Obama. I am a professional artist. I make my living providing a service and I get paid to do it. The vast majority who view my work never pay a nickel. They pass it around on the Internet with their friends or see it on someone’s wall.

It’s up to us the help share the truth.

Thank goodness for artists like John M, in a world were art is being distorted in so many ways, and what counts as it, is far from the classics, He has a reason behind his work, a purpose, not just to make a nice picture and I am glad he paints against Obama, not for him. I am glad he has the vision to include the things he has done and I am proud he knows what is true.

Very moving. I am greatful for John McNaughton and his willingness to share his talent with the world. Please share this on your FB page as I am. Maybe this will wake up some people that need waking up and that they will face what is really going on! Thank you John for sharing with the rest of us.
