Our very own MRC contributor David Parker joined Hugh Hewitt on his radio program to discuss Parker’s new book: On the Brink, America’s Choice 2012. I expected this interview would be a good one, but as I listened to it I was surprised how engaging the conversation was. Even though I’ve been blogging about Mitt for nearly 6 years now I can say I actually learned a few things about him from the interview. Parker and Hewitt discuss Romney as a person, as a leader of a hugely successful capital investment firm, as a lay pastor (Bishop and Stake President) in his church for 13 years, and even as a future President with the will and know-how to get things done.

I am ashamed of Rabbi Joseph Berman’s actions from JVP and Temple B’Nai Israel from Revere, MA.
I cannot beleive that a Rabbi is actually not supporting Israel. He’s actually doing harm. This goes against GOD and the Torah/ Bible.
Thank you Mr. Romney for supporting Israel and I believe that you will make a fine U.S. President. Let’s put “In GOD We Trust” Back into America!

I am voting for Mitt! I was blown away when I heard President Obama just before he was elected say that he was going to fundamentally change the United Stated of America. We need the fundamentals that is what made us a successful country.

I listened to your interview and just purchased your book! Great interview! I am encouraged that you feel Romney will win. But I agree, we cannot be complacent. By writing this book you are demonstrating that you are definitely NOT complacent.
It is frustrating to watch the Obama campaign misrepresent Romney’s tax policies and put out baseless and misleading ads with no concern for the truth. It is also frustrating to watch an irresponsible media repeat these untruths. It was encouraging to see some on the left draw the line with Harry Reid. But, these kinds of tactics didn’t work during the primaries so hopefully it will not work in the general election. Romney supporters are a strong force spreading the word. Your book will help distribute information and support for Romney…Romney 2012!
