David Axelrod is the perfect spokesman for Mr. Obama! He is such a lousy liar! You can see it all over his face and body language. Also, watch the body language of Scarborough and the lady to his right (watch her face; she doesn’t believe one word). They are disgusted with Axelrod’s attempted filibuster — and this is MSNBC, the Obama cheerleaders!
Fact: Senator Feinstein has stated for weeks senior White House officials have leaked classified information, endangering American assets abroad; Fact: The White House leaking of top secret data has alienated a large percentage of active duty military from their commander in chief; Fact: The very definition of a “leak” is that it is intentional — and these White House leaks were made by very senior White House officials.
In this video clip, Scarborough scolds David Axelrod for his “distractions” and has to raise his voice to speak over Axelrod’s increasing deflections. The best quote is by Scarborough to Axelrod: “It is very obvious the White House is leaking classified information.”
As Scarborough presses Axelrod for answers, he finally falls back on an excuse: “All White Houses leak.” A few months ago I predicted Mr. Obama would fire Axelrod because he is such a lousy spokesman. I am so glad he didn’t! I hope they just keep Axelrod talking, front and center for the next 100 days.

With all due respect, I am afraid I am not inspired by your candidacy for the next leader of our country, however given the choice you will have my vote, but I urge you to prayfully read my letter.
I am a registered republican and always will be, but I ask myself, given my ignorance of most things political, why don’t we pull out of Afghanistan?
A very simple question that has enormous ramifications but why not? We haven’t achieved ANYTHING thus far. A lot of men and women killed or maimed because politicians sent them there, yes the occasional politician who has a son/relative that may have served but how many of the politicians have served, with the exception of John McCain?
Most of us and certainly I knew, that war was lost before it started. We will never stop terrorists, they have been around for thousands of years and the Middle East is it’s own “animal” . In our innocence or idiocy we thought our might could stop them, where we should be doing a better job of stopping them coming into this country in the first place and those that are already here monitor more closely and their affiliations or eject.
I have been privy first hand to when a soldier comes back, changed, disheartened, broken. The collateral damage goes far beyond the physical injuries. For crying out loud we know this…why do we keep throwing good money after bad? We can protect our borders HERE, without traveling half way across the world to do it. Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? Can you imagine another country invading us to “protect” it’s borders? We need to stop.
Think about it….the cost has been exhaustive and has drained this country perhaps beyond recovery in our lifetime. To stop now would not be to lose face. I would not sacrifice another life just to save face. Some might say that those that have died did it for nothing, but I say they fought the good fight and hard as it is to wrestle with – we lost. Again I repeat myself in saying I would not sacrifice another life to save face, it’s time to lick our wounds and repair.
The trillions the war is costing goes beyond anything we could have imagined. We should be putting that money into rehabilitation of the survivors now. Into their families, into homes or shelters for the homeless soldiers that essentially have come back with nothing, 21 yrs olds with no prospects, limping 23 yr olds that can’t afford their medication and daren’t use the walking stick they need so as to keep their low paying jobs. This is America and we are doing a very poor job of taking care of our own.
It goes back to basics of anyone who knows about Multitasking, there are limitations, to the point that you often wind up doing not a very good job at a lot of things, your resources are stretched to their limit, and you don’t hear everyone, to where you no longer hear anyone.
America could be the strongest again, I really believe that. I am a patriot of the United States of America as is my choice. This country could be truly the land of opportunity again. We really don’t need anyone else. We should take care of ourselves first, from the poor to the homeless to the jobless.
Put back the UNITED where it should be FIRST. We have to realize we cannot help all of the people all of the time and sending money to countries in an effort to stop the war on terror is frankly futile and insult to us. They are throwing it back in our faces and that just rubs me the wrong way. THAT shouldn’t be what our men and women are dying for.
Let the legacy for your presidency be to bring all our soldiers home. Take care of them and their families then you will find their loyalty will be 10 fold greater for their country, instead of fostering a dejected generation of young people with no purpose. Because are you not breeding your own terrorists in effect?

It’s really interesting how contentious that discussion became especially when you consider it was MSNBC. This doesn’t look like it’s going to go away anytime soon. The leak is obviously dangerously close to Obama. It’s also obvious that the leaks were carried out for political purposes in order to elevate the president. Not good for the Obama administration.
Hello Kim, thank you for your comment here in MRC. Just a note to remind you that we are a grassroots site with no affiliation whatsoever to the Romney campaign. That said, many within the campaign periodically review comments.
To your points, there is no question in any person’s mind that Gov. Romney will do everything in his power to keep America from war of any kind. That said, America has always used its influence to protect the innocent around the world when possible.
WWII is a good example in which peoples of all nations of the world are forever grateful to America for sacrificing its blood and treasure at Normandy and all across the continents of the world to expel tyranny.
Until we expelled the Taliban from Afghanistan, women and children were summarily executed in public squares for the smallest of infractions against inane rules.

This is totally biased. VP Dick Cheney’s office leaked the the identification of CIA covert agent Valerie Plame as political payback for her husband’s column in the NY Times on Bush false claims of nuclear materials out of Niger for Iraq’s nuclear program, which her husband’s report turned out to be accurate. This is one of the worst DELIBERATE national security violations ever committed by government; reckless underhanded irresponsibility as best and treason at worst.
