The polls go up and down every day — and some would argue that, with 4 1/2 months until the election, the results don’t mean much — but it is worth noting that Romney has maintained an edge over Obama for a few weeks now, according to Rasmussen.
We’ll keep an eye on the trend and hope that the red squiggly line shoots upward in the coming weeks.
It’s time to start closing this thing out.

Up by 5 and it’s only June! What is there not to like about Romney. He is presidential, substantive, consistent on his positions, principled, pragmatic and believes in what made this country great!!..Romney 2012!!
Romney has been underestimated on just how smart he is. Timing is a big key to his strategy. He will give more detail to his policies -which is what many have been waiting for, but at the right time. He will not deviate from the economy and fall into Obama’s trap.
Best to deal with these things at another better time.We should learn to be patient and watch how this chess game plays out.
We should also notice the Ron Paul effect beginning to play out again. Just look at all the ugly, off-topic smears coming from the left. Thoughtful defense of Obama’s debatable traits grows rare in the public square as attack-mode takes over. Warlike liberals are compensating for their weaker position by getting ever meaner, shriller, and crazier on-line and in the media, tearing off the cumbersome garments of civilisation and rushing out in a panic with sticks, stones, and handfuls of mud, to violently insist on their disproven hypothesis of 2008. It’s starting to scare normal people away from their camp. All that conservatives need to do is continue to expose the hypocrisy and misbehaviour of the left to a public shielded by leftist media.
