Veep madnes Paul Ryan vs Marco Rubio

Thirty-two contenders have been whittled down to just two! Our survivors who will face-off in the last match-up of the VP tournament are Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.

Paul and Rubio could not have taken more differing paths on their march to the finals. Paul Ryan’s course matched him up against 4 excellent and currently serving GOP Governors: Jan Brewer (AZ), Nikki Haley (SC), Bob McDonnell (VA) and Chris Christie (NJ). While Rubio’s route was much more varied including a Senator (Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania), a Governor of a U.S. territory (Luis Fortuño of Puerto Rico), a former Secretary of State (Condoleeza Rice), and another fellow Senator (Jim DeMint of South Carolina).

Good luck to Congressman Ryan and Senator Rubio in the last round of voting. The winner will be announced on Monday!

I believe the winners oughta be treated to Chik-Fil-A. What say you?

  2. This is by far the most difficult decision/vote I have had to make. I really need to think on this one before voting. I hate identity politics, but if I thought Rubio could take a large % of the Latino vote from Obama then I would lean towards Rubio.

  3. phyllis says:

    Rubio or nobody. No brainer.

  4. Mike in LV says:

    Ryan or Somebody. no brainer@phyllis

  5. Mike in LV says:

VOTE FOR RYAN! He likes Chick-Fil-A.

  6. phyllis says:

I like Taco Bell better than Chick-Fil-A:)

  7. Terry Bradshaw says:

    Two excellent candidates! Difficult decision.

  8. AfricansforRomney says:

I would pick Ryan. But again, he has lots of budget baggage. It looks like a beauty contest for Jet magzine cover, though.
I’m suggesting you to start all over again.
The game changes the last two days so, NO Hetrosexual VP candidate :=)

  9. Shane Ownbey says:

It’s a toss up. Both are excellent choices. I have advocated Romney / Rubio, Ryan, Christie & Hailey all along. I think Hailey would still be a great choice as she is a minority and a women. She is my pick. However, I don’t think it’s really going to matter in the final analysis. The present VP was a nobody and he still is. As a matter of fact he is an embarrasment to the Obama administration and I don’t think he done any favors at all for Obama. Biden is irrelevant.

Can somebody please unban Romney2012 from the MRC. PLEASE!

  11. Wendy says:

I’m stick going for Condie Rice!

  12. hunibuni2 says:

Both are great candidates, but Bob McDonnell is a must. A Governor.

  13. BenInOregon says:

Sorry guys. I think its either Marco or Ryan….BUT Portman!…lol

McCain, according to Romney advisers, blew it on all three scores. And of the three, the most conscious effort by Romney’s team to do things differently will be in the V.P. selection process. One Republican official familiar with the campaign’s thinking said it will be designed to produce a pick who is safe and, by design, unexciting – a deliberate anti-Palin. The prized pick, said this official: an “incredibly boring white guy.”

I am biased since I am a Floridian. Marco Rubio should be the choice. The man is brilliant, charismatic, and a solid conservative. Cheers!

is it just me or is it a bit obvious that nobody cares. its vp. additionally, this is another big publicity stunt in the style of “vote for me damnit!”
