After the fantastic news yesterday – that Governor Chris Christie had endorsed Governor Mitt Romney for president – FOX News’ Sean Hannity was pleased to snag an interview last night with Christie:
Romney’s statement on Christie’s endorsement:
“It is an honor to have Governor Chris Christie’s support,” said Mitt Romney. “Governor Christie is a national leader in the fight to reform government and cut spending. His efforts in New Jersey are an example for the rest of the country. In my campaign for president, I am fighting for these same reforms and I am humbled to have his support.”
Christie’s statement of support:
… “This is the most important election in generations. Whether we are able to fix our economy and get our country on the right track will have ramifications for decades. We cannot afford to continue on our current path. Mitt Romney has a life history of coming into struggling organizations and turning them around. Right now, we need someone like him in theWhite House to fundamentally change our economy and reverse three years of failed policies. Unlike our current president, Mitt Romney understands the economy from the inside out. Fixing the economy will not be easy, but Mitt has shown throughout his life that he has the leadership ability and expertise to lead our country toward a recovery. Republicans should recognize the importance of this election and realize that if they are serious about regaining the White House, Mitt Romney is the only candidate to back.”
Debate UPDATE:
Boston, MA – Former New Hampshire Governor and U.S. Senator Judd Gregg released the following statement on tonight’s debate in Hanover, New Hampshire:
“Mitt Romney won tonight’s debate by demonstrating why he is ready to be president on day one. His experience working in the real economy and his knowledge of how jobs are created was on display tonight. In order to get our economy and country on the right track again, our next president will need that experience and leadership record. Mitt Romney has spent his life turning around struggling enterprises. Our country needs a turnaround.”

Number 1 reason why Mitt will win the Presidency should he win the nomination is the following remark by President Barack Obama regarding the China Currency Bill,
“President Barack Obama has not taken a formal stance but said last week he’s concerned the bill may be inconsistent with international trade rules.”
He’s on the wrong side of this issue, and that’s what’s going to lose him the votes of the Reagan Democrats. Kudos to the following Senators that passed the bill:
Senators Graham and Snowe, Sen. Scott Brown, Sen. Richard Burr, Sens. Saxby Chambliss & Johnny Isakson of Georgia, Sen. Thad Cochran (Miss), Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), Sen. Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Sen. John Hoeven (N.D.), Sen. Mike Johanns (Neb.), Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio), Sens. Richard Shelby & Jeff Sessions of Alabama, and Mike Crapo & James Risch of Idaho.
