Unemployment Rate Rises Again as President Obama Continues to Fail Our Economy

Yahoo’s description of the June Jobs report begins: “If Hollywood were to make a film about the June jobs report, it would be called The Ugly, The Ugly and The Ugly.”

Mitt is again getting kudos from all over the blogosphere for his astute critique of the Obama administration.

“Today’s abysmal jobs report confirms what we all know – that President Obama has failed to get this economy moving again. Just this week, President Obama’s closest White House adviser said that ‘unemployment rates or even monthly jobs numbers’ do not matter to the average American.

“If David Plouffe were working for me, I would fire him and then he could experience firsthand the pain of unemployment. His comments are an insult to the more than 20 million people who are out of work, underemployed or who have simply stopped looking for jobs. With their cavalier attitude about the economy, the White House has turned the audacity of hope into the audacity of indifference.”

Mitt also added this tweet:

This comes on the heels of a back and forth between David Plouffe and Romney’s campaign manager Matt Rhoades. After Plouffe went after Mitt, Matt Rhoades said: “We understand the difficulty of working for a president who is challenging Herbert Hoover’s place as the greatest job terminator in U.S. history. Mr. Plouffe has our deepest sympathies. If he’d like his candidate to discuss real issues, Mitt Romney will debate President Obama any time, any place.” Mitt Romney is the candidate President Obama and his team fear the most and the continuous verbal battles between their camps over the last few years proves it to people who pay the closest attention to these details.

UPDATE
Mitt’s team released a new video and a new petition to sign following the dismal jobs report. In response, the Obama team doubles down further illustrating how truly out of touch they are:

If the President and his team continue to spout these type of condescending statements, Gov. Romney is going to win this election in a landslide.

Knocked it out of the park with that! He just keeps on the jobs/economy and “reminding” people. BUT……..it needs to get out “there”. Uh……think FOX will report it?? Probably not………they need another Bachmann story. (and I like Bachmann ok but REALLY?)

  2. ccr says:

haha……….just checked FOX online……..SURE ENOUGH! Bachmann gets front page link under the economy articles…….there’s Bachmann’s comments. FOX is becoming less relevant in my life!!

  3. Jake says:

The Econmony WILL be the main issue this election cycle. The ONLY person with the experience to put BHO on the defense is MITT. America needs more than Hope it needs JOBS the REAL four letter word.

  4. Katrina says:

Go Mitt! Always eloquent and spot on!

ccr, I feel ya on the Fox thing. Jon Stewart was right about one thing: all news outlets are lazy and sensationalist, even before they’re right-leaning or left-leaning. When I was starting a communications program in college, I was told journalists must be unbiased… and then I was taught there’s no free press because everyone is beholden to corporate sponsors. I feel like everyone should be warned that when they tune into the news, they’re making a choice between one set of prejudices or another. There is no objectivity. The point is to be wide awake, pick out the facts, and make your own conclusions.

And vote for Mitt. He’s the ONLY solution to our economic ills as a nation!

  5. ccr says:

Katrina, lazy and sensational and biased…….I believe it! And it all boils down to ……..MONEY. You can buy about anything with …..money.

Mitt’s experience and character, the good lives of Americans and prayers……that’s my HOPE for our country’s ills!

  6. K.G. says:

ccr and Katrina: I checked both FOX and TownHall. You are right. It’s Bachmann and Palin all day everyday. I guess the two sexy tea party tough girls make bettah copy. The one article on TH re: Romney was extremely negative.

To be honest Mitt out there on the horizon looking smart, competent and presidential (w/o getting a lot if detailed scrunity) is probably a good thing for him. The more any candidate is examined, the more clay feet people will discover.

This is how Obama got elected. No real vetting or record, just a blank slate upon which deluded dreamers could write their fondest hopes.

  7. ccr says:

K.G., a LOT of people did project their own expectations/dreams on what they thought Obama would do. Rude awakening for America!

I’m afraid some will do that with Perry……thinking he’s the knight on the white horse….when he sounds like he needs a caravan for some of his “baggage”!

I hope people are thinking for themselves!

  8. K.G. says:

ccr: Alas, most elections are won and lost on a 8th grade level. People w/ a 13-year-old IQ voting for sound bites. I’m sure a lot of people voted for Reagan who had no real idea of what Reagan actually stood for. He just looked good and sounded good. In Reagan’s case, he actually turned out to be a good president; a leader of sound principles and substance.

Mitt looks good and sounds good to a nation looking for ability and stability. Will Perry be a challenge in the primaries? Maybe. Here’s hoping the Romney people are busy doing opposition research as we speak….uh…write.

Perry’s in late; his only hope is to come after Mitt and Michele with both guns blazing. Or maybe he’s setting himself up for a 2016 run. My friend, a politically-savvy evangelical had never heard of him. He hasn’t been polling well in the South, where people know him. Last week’s TX poll had Romney beating Obama by 8 and Palin and Perry losing to BO by 2.

I wonder how Perry will poll nationally for the general election. Another TX cowboy who sounds exactly like GWB?

  9. ccr says:

K.G., I think Mitt is the best to help this country. I don’t profess perfection but certainly his credentials are undeniable!

Perry will have some/many of the Christian Right that disrespect the Constitution with their religious test. Those that are out and out to soft bigoted towards Mormons will push Perry, I believe. I think he has quite a few “skeletons” and hardly a conservative with his mandated HPV for girls. The integrity of the religious political movement will be seen perhaps.

Perry and GWB weren’t too chummy from what I’ve “heard”??? Hasn’t HE spent a HUGE part of his life in POLITICS? That’s a big plus for Mitt since he hasn’t “inhaled”, he says! haha!

  10. K.G. says:

ccr: I agree. I’m willing to look @ all the candidates and give them a fair shot, but so far I too believe Mitt’s the best for the oval office. Perry hasn’t been vetted in the least. Everybody gets excited about the new kid on the block until all the stuff comes out.

My kids live in TX. They like Perry OK but truly dislike his stance on open borders. I live 15 mi. from the CA border. Open borders are a nightmare here; ruining the state, ruining the country.
