Mitt Romney on Hannity Show, Comments on MA Races: Barney Frank vs Sean Bielat, Deval Patrick vs Charlie Baker

Governor Mitt Romney took a break from his busy schedule on election eve to appear on the Sean Hannity Show. He commented on the winds of change blowing through Massachusetts – which began whistling with Scott Brown’s victory and is hitting Barney Frank’s race with Sean Bielat and the gubernatorial race between Deval Patrick and Charlie Baker. Romney also voiced his opinion on Obama’s failed policies, incl Obamacare.

Romney has earnestly given his all to help conservatives win tomorrow and has kept up a break-neck schedule on the campaign trail. It was wonderful to see him again.

In case you missed it, here’s a look at Romney’s recent activities on the campaign trail:

Romney said “no more bailouts.” Does that include the bailout he supported, the massive, socialist TARP that he said was necessary?

That said, Romney did a good job trying to differentiate RomneyCare with ObamaCare. One certainly is more dangerous and one certainly is unconstitutional. However, Romney was disenguous: Romney said his intent was to use market forces, the personal mandate is the opposite of that; he said he didn’t raise taxes, his plan piggybacks off more federal gov’t Medicare/caid spending, has cost much more than anticipated, and therefore will require taxes in the near future, plus not to mention the fact that a mandate is effectively a tax. Romney, your plan was the state version of Obamacare. It required greater state gov’t intervention in the markets and pushed the cost of insuring the poor/sick by piggybacking off the rich/healthy. It did nothing to tackle the underlying problem: health care is too expensive because of a lack of free market forces. Romney’s solution? More regulation and force.

Iamse….Please provide a link to a Romney statement where he endorsed TARP in the form the Dems instituted. He made no such statement.

How is a personal mandate to obtain insurance “the opposite” of market forces. These two constructs are not juxtaposed to one another or mutually exclusive. His plan does use Federal Medicare, as the feds intend it. Why criticize any governor for seeking to maximize a federal allocation? Your comments are far more disingenous than anything Romney has said.
