Mitt Romney Announces 10 for ’10 Initiative – Going Full Court Press in Final Election Day Countdown

Despite the fact that Mitt Romney has been extremely busy making endorsements and campaigning all across America, he is pulling out all the stops in the final two weeks of the November 2010 election.  Recently, Romney’s Free And Strong American PAC announced the “Take Congress Back: 10 for ’10 Initiative.” The purpose of this initiative is to provide the necessary tools for citizens to make a difference for 10 House challengers in key battleground contests who have received endorsements by Mitt Romney.

Ronald Reagan declared that “America is a shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.” Our President prefers to hide the lamp of freedom under a bushel. Romney is unapologetic about the greatness of our country.  However, the brightness of the light of freedom does not depend entirely on the President, Congress or the Supreme Court. It will burn only as brightly as the citizens of America want it to.  Therefore, it is the duty of each one of us to ensure the light of freedom does not dim. This is the election where normal everyday citizens will have a direct impact on the course our nation takes.

America did not gain its independence from England through some government entity. We gained our freedom through the sacrifice and contributions of individuals. While we study the names of great leaders, we dare not forget the nameless men and women who also had a role in history. Through their efforts, they determined the outcome of our country.

Those who fought in the Revolutionary war and in subsequent generations have made their personal, quiet, and private contributions to ensure the beacon of freedom is always shining. Mitt Romney is doing all he can, as well. What will your contribution be for our great nation in the remaining days of this election? How will you make a difference?
