Happy Birthday America! from Mitt Romney Central

★★★It’s Independence Day!★★★

How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy! ~Thomas Jefferson

Those who won our independence believed liberty to be the secret of happiness and courage to be the secret of liberty. ~Louis D. Brandeis

Americans acknowledge that liberty is a gift of God, not an indulgence of government. ~Mitt Romney

Happy birthday, America!

UPDATE: Twitter photo from Mitt showing Ann and family members enjoying July 4th weekend fun in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Looks like they’re having an All-American blast!

Gov Romney’s July 4th Tweet (on Facebook, too):

On this Fourth of July, I’m thinking about the thousands of soldiers, separated from their loved ones, defending our liberty and freedom around the world. Thank you for keeping us safe.

I love America and am so thankful for the Constitution of the United States. I believe that inspired document is very vulnerable at this time. Mitt Romney is someone who has integrity, a most essential quality to lead this nation and preserve the Constitution. Mitt should be our next President.

I love watching this video on Independence Day!

First, it’s a great movie speech. Next, who seems more likely to be able to give a speech like this? Mitt or Obama?

Carol, I agree with your every word.

Dan, thanks for the movie link. My money is on Mitt Romney! He’s a great speaker and he REALLY knows what he’s talking about.

    Thanks for the comments.

  4. Is that Mitt Romney in shorts AND sunglasses. I think I’ve seen a few photos of him in shorts, but never have I seen sunglasses. Looks like someone sprayed him with a squirt gun too.

I was thinking that Mitt had just finished running a 5K or a grandchild water-ballooned him! :)

Looking very cool in those shades…
