This Video Shows Exactly Why I Want Mitt Romney For President

April 20th, 2010 5:16 pm Author: Nate Gunderson

Mitt Romney for President! You will learn more about Mitt Romney from watching this video than you will watching all of the 2012 GOP debates combined.

Debates are very interesting, but as they progress you tend to hear just more of the same, but each time with a different audience. With so many candidates and so many vying for time one can hardly demonstrate a lifetime’s worth of experience and skills developed. The time to answer is simply too short.

This video is different….

In this video Mitt discusses heavily the topics of economy, innovation, health care, and family. The format is such that he is not rushed in 1 minute encapsulations of profound issues. He takes time to explain his views with effective elaboration. The video does not cover every single issue important to the GOP today, but it gives a clear view of his character, his philosophies, and his general approach to solving problems.

If I could get everyone voting in the GOP primaries to do one thing it would be to read his book. If I could get them to do one thing that required less than an hour it would be to watch this video.

Discussion with Mitt Romney At Emory University in Atlanta, GA

If you’ve got to play hard ball, you’re going to need a Mitt!

    @Douglas Smith
Haha. Surprisingly I had never heard that quote before. That’s a good one.

    Sorry Nate
Mitt has shown everyone he is wishy washy and really afraid to take any kind of substantial conservative stand while he was in office. Everytime he had the ball he looked to see what the prevailing opinions were before saying what he stood for, and even then he went down the middle!
He plays it safe and never takes the bold serious stand that conservatives are searching for. In 2 short years Sarah Palain did more for the citizens of Alaska that Mitt diid in all his years Gov of Mass!
The Mass legislature scared him into signing a now bankrupt healthcare plan citizens in Mass were not looking for. The people want a candidate who stands for something, Mitt strands for everything that sounds good!
However he has no inner courage to fight to his last breath for the conservatives of America!
Sarah Palin is just a citizen running to save America from complete bankruptcy and she also has the intestinal fortitude & courage to fight anything and anyone who tries to take our constitution away from our beloved America!

Mitt is the only person who is able to save America from destruction. He has the character, the experience, the ability, the credibility, and the integrity to do the job and turn America around. Comrade Obama is a racist and a disaster, as I warned before he was elected.

    Sorry Al.

I arguments doesn’t ring through to me in the slightest. Not only do I disagree with your points, your knowledge of Mitt seems too lacking.

You commented on the post here on the video. I’m willing to bet you did not watch it. Care to tell me I’m wrong?

I agree with Paulee, Douglas, Robin, and Nate.

and besides Al…..I have spoken to folks from Mass. Depends on who you are talking to, I guess…Many have shared Mitt was a very good Gov. and did not sit well with him free-loaders. He is the mentality ….one should earn their keep……and so am I…God helps those that help themselves…Mitt got off his duff and became a very productive American…
Yes, Jayde I agree, with Mitt there is still hope for America…Love the comment…..Hardball and you will need a Mitt….!!!!!!Very clever…..

THIS guy is presidential in every way. He’s got the knowledge, the backbone, the background, the resume, the great family behind him (which he puts above any career – go figure that he thinks of others before himself), He speaks with authority. He’s not always ‘right’, but he can sure explain to me why he makes the choices he makes. His thought process is one I want in the White house. He’s not an opportunist, he’s not out for his name in headlines. He just wants to do what is right for the country.

Thanks for posting. I loved how he stated like his father, the thing that gives him the most joy and what he is most proud of is his family and faith. I also love how at home he appears in these intellectual settings. You can tell the interviewer was genuinely impressed by his ideas and ability to articulate them.

Thanks for sharing this video! Mitt does not posture himself, but speaks from his experience and heart. We are lucky that a man of his integrity and accomplishments is willing to serve. 2012 cannot get here fast enough!

Don’t forget the hair, he definitely has presidential hair! Mitt has the character and the intelect to be our president, but I don’t think he can outrun the Romney-care rap. As for doing things that are unconstitutional, that doesn’t seem to bother Obama much. We can only hope that America will vote for the opposite of Obama and elect a gentleman with the same values America stands for because they are so sick of Washington. By the way Sara Palin is ver charismatic, pretty, and funny. But the fact is she lacks the experience to represent a NATION on a world stage. Palin is also not of the same intellectual fiber as Mitt Romney, she would be a great Vice president.
