  1. cherryrn says:

If it closes the donut hole , it is worth everything they went through to get it. Why are the Republicans such sore losers?

  2. James c Regeon says:

Mr. Romney How will this hurt seniors on social security?

  3. ASF says:

cherryn, you wouldn’t say that if you understood the bill. Democracy seeks to grant equality to its citizens through freedom. This bill is not only bad in the details, but takes a major step toward a socialist government. That means a people who are not free, but dependent upon and serve the government. This is why it must be repealed and we will work with all we have to throw the congressmen out who sold the country out and sold their own souls by voting for it. There are good ways to reform health care that preserve the most important principles of our government and freedom, this bill does the opposite. It’s time for all good men and women to stand up and cleanse the government of the cancer that has invaded it.

  4. Lori says:

I think cherryn is mistaken. The so called donut hole won’t be closed until the reconciliation bill passes. Can someone confirm this?

As to her sore loser comment, you would not be happy if you saw your freedoms eroded and were forced to depend on government to do things for you that you would prefer to do for yourself, and forced to depend on government to make decisions about your health care that strangers ought to butt out of, that your privacy and deeply personal health information was about to become part of a gigantic government data base.

Anyway, I wouldn’t call us sore losers until the fight is over and it isn’t. We have may have lost the battle to the democrat-controlled congress, but the war against tyranny is far from over.

  5. Florence S. Sawyer says:

First of all, Mitt Romney is a ‘Gentleman’ who is smart and well-spoken, well educated and also holds a Harvard Degree in Business..
Secondly, he has had experience in Massachusetts as the Governor and straightened the State out fiscally, they were in the ‘red’ when he became Gov. and when he resigned the State was in the ‘black’.He improved Healthcare and everyone in the State was covered.
Romney is honest and has high standards…he showed this tonite in his speaking to Larry King. He does not speak for others but speaks for himself as a man of integrity. He is intelligent and a good family man.

I believe that he held his own and made a very good impression to those watching and listening to him. His Father was a highly regarded Governor of Michigan, and we all loved him.

  6. Paulee says:

Mitt is so Presidential… Nothing is rocking him…Steady as you go, as I see him. Knowledgeable, courageous, well spoken and sincere. Gosh, I sure wish we had him NOW…in Our White House…This administration is corrupt…We have gone from better to worse…I think Larry tried his level best to trip Mitt up…Better get up really early, Larry, Mitt is one of a kind. Romney 2012

  7. ABRanteweia says:

It seems undoubtedly to me that Mitt is the one that will be defeated the current president of the United States of America. Why and how, simply because he is tirelessly working for his party as a Republican. I am sure that he is the one to be in the general election in 2012. Mitt in 2012.

  8. BDH says:

This country needs Mitt Romney! Someone who is willing to do what is right and best for our country. Someone who isn’t willing to throw our country under the bus just to win the poor vote. We need Mitt to reverse our current Marxist/socialist course.

  9. zeek says:

I am anxious to see the interview. I have always thought Larry king was kind of a milk toast when it came to interviews. My opinion is highly subjective. I dont like his interviews because his objective is to have a nice harmless conversation with his guest feeling good about the interview, larry, and himself. I am a big supporter of Romney, but find it a little out of the pattern if Larry took a more antagonistic approach. I do admit I havent seen Larry King live for a few years. I thought they had taxidermed him and were bringing him out on wheels lately.

  10. BOSMAN says:

    Cherryn, the bill that passed is like a MUD PIE with Cherries on top. The Cherries;

    No Pre-existing conditions
27 year olds being covered under parents insurance
    and a few others

kick in first. The BILL for this fiasco and the rationing of health care with fewer doctors, fines, penalties, and mandates come later when the MUD PIE has to be eaten.

Mitt is correct. This bill needs to be challenged in court, repealed, amended, and/or have it’s funding cut off. We need health reform in this country. However, the way to do it is through INDIVIDUAL STATES determining their needs and pass their own bill. Much like we did in Massachusetts. where 69% of the population still favor it even after Governor Patrick has chosen to ignore the problem of rising health care costs. Even with ALL THIS, Mass Health Care (RomneyCare) is only 1.5% of the States budget. ObamaCare will cost TO START, 16-18% of the National budget.

  11. Beth says:

Regarding Gov. Romney’s assertion that doctors DON’T support this bill is very TRUE. Mr. King needs to understand that the AMA probably doesn’t represent even 30% of doctors and maybe as little as 16% of them. Even more recently, “The New England Journal of Medicine” published a survey that 46% of doctors would leave the profession if Obamacare passed.

  12. SED says:

The New England Journal of Medicine surveyed that Romneycare received a positive rating of 70% from Massachusetts physicians. Yet, another contrast to Obamacare.

  13. Tami says:

Watched the interview and was quite impressed! He held his own. I was getting so irritated with Larry not letting Mitt finish a sentence. Mitt was able to get said what needed to be said though.

His interview was very informative and educational. He is a classy guy.

Been slowly reading his book and last night finally read the section on “Healing Healthcare”. I couldn’t put it down. It just made so much sense to me. He described step-by-step what they did in MA with BIpartisan support. It’s a great read folks! I do hope many will read it.

I’d love for Beck and Rush and others to read it!!

  14. Makeli says:

Mitt is the man! He’s getting sharper and sharper if that’s even possible. Great interview.

  15. Florence S. Sawyer says:

YES! I believe MITT is the kind of man who should lead our country. He is courageous and honest and a true PATRIOT. !!
