Meg Whitman: CEO for California Governor
The Meg Whitman campaign put together a nice video that covers Meg’s background.
From a young age, Meg learned never to give up and to always seize opportunity. She was in the fourth class of women at Princeton University. She led with confidence at companies such as Hasbro, FTD and Disney. Time magazine has ranked her among the world’s most influential people. And at eBay, Meg helped inspire millions of people to chase opportunity. Now, Meg wants to bring optimism and opportunity to all Californians.
Some interesting facts from the video are: As CEO of eBay she grew it from 30 employees to 15,000. Not to mention the millions of people that work from home selling goods on eBay. She also helped grow their annual revenue from $4,000,000 to nearly $8,000,000,000. Those are pretty darn good numbers!
Mitt Romney makes a cameo around 1:26

Thanks, Luke.
I wish Meg all the best! We really need her!
It has been my privilege to know Meg Whitman for the past five years or so. She is a kind, approachable, energetic and brilliant leader. There is no “elitist” in Meg Whitman. She is very practical and pragmatic. I like the fact that her eBay office was a little booth just a few feet away from the CFO and other execs, and open to all comers. She is up-front and open, very much unlike that “behind closed doors” approach we’ve seen so much of lately.
I plan to forward the link to this page and video to my contact list as I begin my own fund raising efforts in her behalf. I hope you will consider doing the same. California needs Meg Whitman. America needs Meg Whitman as California’s governor. If we’re “in the tank” economically, it has a profound impact on the rest of the nation. Please “jump in” and lend us a hand!
@Jim Davies Thanks, Jim! We’ll be working hard over the next few months to promote the candidates that The Free and Strong America PAC has endorsed – We trust Mitt’s judgement and recognize the great things he and MEg have accomplished together.
There is no better person for the state of California. We will do all we can to propel her into office.
Go Meg! Go Mitt!
