Welcome to the Team, Dave …We’re thrilled to have you onboard!

That's Dave at a Romney Ralley in Minnesota!

Dave, welcome to the team. I look forward to reading your information. I think Gov. Romney will be a great President. However can someone explain to me how Gov. Romney will distance himself from the healthcare plan of Mass. I know his original plan was good and that Dems. have added to the cost over the years, but other primary candidates will hit him hard with it. Do you think this will cost Gov. Romeny the nomination?
Thank you John! I’m thrilled to be a part of Team MRC. You ask a really good question. Gov. Romney won’t be able to completely distance himself from, or disown the Massachusetts health care plan. I can just see the accusations of “flip flopper” start to fly if he tries. I think what he needs to do is explain why he supported it initially (http://bit.ly/Ribt1), point out that the plan has changed, and then really focus on what needs to be done next to bring down the rising costs of health insurance. Mitt has already spoken about needing tort reform and portability with health care plans. He needs to continue to hammer on those points and push free market solutions with this issue. I think we’ll see a lot more of the Governor’s ideas and thoughts about health care in his book when it comes out in March. But yes, this is something he’ll have to answer in a satisfactory and head on manner to secure the nomination in 2012.
Welcome, Dave! It’s terrific to have you on board to help document the accomplishments and news of our man, Mitt. We appreciate the gift of your time and talents.

And, doubles the fun!
We’re engaged in a great cause – Mitt Romney 2012!
And Mitt can certainly do that!
Well put Dave, I agree with you. Gov. Romney needs to focus on cost not coverage.
