MRC Celebrates 10,000+ Facebook Fans

What an amazing few weeks we’ve had here at Mitt Romney Central! Together with our fans, we’ve accomplished some major feats. From defeating ObamaCare (temporarily), to assuring a Republican victory in the bluest of states, we’ve ushered in the New Year with high-energy and determination. Add to those accomplishments a record number of MRC daily visitors, an impressive turnout for our first ever ‘Open House’ chat party, and a shattered goal of 10,000 Facebook Fans! We’ve only begun, though. Phase 2 of Mitt Romney Central begins now.

We’ve had a barrage of supporters come to us with willing spirits and eager dispositions; hundreds of fans are asking us, “What can we do to help?!”

Well, we’re excited to say that we have major plans in the works for all who’d like to assist in building our grassroots network in support of our man, Mitt. In the upcoming weeks, look for more details regarding a strategized effort to put Mitt’s name at the top of the 2012 list. For the time being, here are some simple ways you can help:

    Dear Sir,

Please run again you are my president

    Best regards

I don’t know if anyone is reading this, but Congrats! Gov. Romney’s presence was, obviously a big part of Senator Brown’s win on Tuesday, and that was an extra added “THIS IS GREAT” for me. I sense that the Brown victory (and Mitt’s connection to it) shifted the focus of Republican energy for 2012 a bit closer to Romney, and a bit away from the mythical Sarah Palin-ish camp, IYWIMAITYD ;-).

  3. Jayde Wyatt says:

We DO read comments, Steve. Thanks for taking the time to write. Same for Randy!

By the way, what does IYWIMAITYD mean?

    :)

  4. Steven/ParisParamus says:

LOL. First, my comment about the comments is sort of addressed to the fact that a dilemma is emerging when it comes to commenting, or tweeting a reponse to a blog post.

Second, the above set of letters = If you know what I mean, and I think you do.” It’s a very popular think at certain blogs such as Ace of Spades.

Third It will be interesting to see what happens in New York’s Governor (does anyone say “Governatorial” any more?) race with Rick Lazio, who, I understand, may also be getting some Romney “Obi-Wan” help; call me a pessimist, but I suspect New York’s electorate is even more comatose than that of the Bay State…

Greetings from the City that never….votes right ;-)

  5. Rebel Ross says:

Haha, I say gubernatorial from time to time. Anyway, I wouldn’t count Lazio out. The fact that he doesn’t have too much competition for the republican primary will help a lot. Also, I see the electorate of New York being similar to the electorate that elected Chris Christie in New Jersey. Taxes should be a huge issue in New York and we all know Lazio is going to be on the winning side of that argument. Plus. we can’t under estimate the Romney team. They are 3-0 in the last three months…

  6. Steven/ParisParamus says:

I was talking with someone about Lazio’s chances, and I’m convinced the biggest problem he will have is that New Yorkers, and the New York media seems to me to be comatose when it comes to local and state politics. That means that Lazio will need some very innovative tactics to get into the consciousness of indepedent and conservative-ish New Yorkers. It will be a very difficult battle. Yes, George Pataki sort of pulled it off (not my kind of “Republican”).

The above is a shame because I think NY is at least tied with CA as a financial basket case; and even worse, much worse as far as dynfunctional legislatures are concerned.

I’ve written to Mr. Lazio’s campaign several times: he has at least one friend in Brooklyn!
