<a href="#comment-850" rel="nofollow">@Paulee </a>
Paulee, great job! I wish I could have been at your Tea Party! You are doing what all Romney supporters should do: Look for teaching opportunities to engage in friendly, personal conversations with friends and neighbors regarding Mitt's unique and needed qualifications to lead our nation.

Please consider leaving more info here regarding your 'Freedom Cross' movement!

Mitt 2012!

<a href="#comment-848" rel="nofollow">@Deborah Parks </a>
In elementary school, every morning we’d sing the Star Spangled Banner, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and then sing My Country ‘Tis of Thee. It was my favorite. Can’t imagine this song being sung nowadays…especially not the 4th verse!

My Country, 'Tis of Thee
Text: Samuel F. Smith, 1808-1895

1.	My country,' tis of thee,
	Sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;
	Land where my fathers died,
	Land of the pilgrims' pride,
	From every mountainside let freedom ring!

2.	My native country, thee,
	Land of the noble free, thy name I love;
	I love thy rocks and rills,
	Thy woods and templed hills;
	My heart with rapture thrills, like that above.

3.	Let music swell the breeze,
	and ring from all the trees sweet freedom's song;
	Let mortal tongues awake;
	Let all that breathe partake;
	Let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong.

4.	Our fathers' God, to thee,
	Author of liberty, to thee we sing;
	Long may our land be bright
	with freedom's holy light;
	Protect us by thy might, great God, our King.

I strongly believe "one nation under God" is very much correct. To think that our government is taking God away from our country & government is inexcuseable. Here in the state of MS. ,30 years ago, in elementary school, before our classes would start, we children would recite the Pledge of Allegence as well as the Lord's prayer. Now, this is unheard of. I have no problem if people from other cultures wish to come here, LEGALLY, but when we have to change &/or quit our traditions, that is not right. It's un-constitutional. I/we wouldn't go to their countries and expect them to change in order to accomodate us.
