Romney Behind Both GOP Gubernatorial Victories

Last night’s victories in Virginia and New Jersey were monumental for the GOP and the conservative movement. Special thanks to Mitt Romney and his supporters for contributing their time, talents, and treasures (money) to promote such a grand cause. This is the beginning of a Republican resurgence; 2010 is going to get crazy!
Please read Mitt Romney’s own words regarding last night’s victories. Also, feel free to take it upon yourself to donate his Political Action Committee, who will assure that your dime is well spent promoting a ‘Free and Strong America’:
ShareWhat a great election yesterday! It’s exhilarating to wake up to headlines of conservative victories in the battleground elections in Virginia and New Jersey. The American people have sent a very strong message to the liberals in Washington, DC that big government is not the answer, and that conservatism is still alive and well.
With your help, we’ve been working hard at my Free and Strong America PAC to spread the core principles that are at the heart of making America a stronger nation and which fortify our party — that a competitive America is one where taxes are low and government is small, that our military superiority must never be compromised, that our cultural values need to be cherished and that unleashing the power of the free market is key to our economic future.
We worked extremely hard on behalf of Bob McDonnell and the entire Republican ticket in Virginia, and helped him close strong with a full day of campaigning in the final week; in New Jersey, we endorsed Chris Christie early and made sure he had the resources to be competitive against his better-financed opponent; in Michigan, we raised money for Republican Mike Nofs, who captured a key State Senate seat previously held by a Democrat; and we worked tirelessly for our friend and ally Barbara Comstock, a leading fixture in the conservative movement, who won an uphill fight for a House of Delegates seat in Virginia, where she’ll be a reliable vote for Governor-elect McDonnell’s conservative agenda.
We didn’t stop there. So far in 2009, my PAC has donated nearly $120,000 to candidates and conservative causes around the nation, including a last-minute $5,000 donation to Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York’s 23rd congressional district. I’ve given speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference, the Club for Growth, the Values Voter Summit, the Heritage Foundation, the Foreign Policy Initiative conference and the AIPAC National Summit. Each of these events helped promote our shared conservative ideals and hopefully influenced the debate on the critical issues facing us.
We should be proud of what we have accomplished together; but this is no time to rest on our laurels. We must begin building upon these victories today to ensure that we have the resources we need to take back the Congress in 2010. Next year I’ll also be traveling the country talking about my upcoming book, “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness,” which will be published in March. I believe that the decisions we make today will determine what course America takes, and I want to make sure we remain the world’s economic and military superpower.
Will you stand with us by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $1,000 — all the way to the maximum of $5,000 — toward this effort?
Republicans are well positioned to show new strength as a party this year. We will take that momentum into the crucial 2010 mid-terms. Our work begins anew. With you by our side, we are sure that today’s victories are the first of many to come.

Mitt has to get information like this out in news outlets like FOX NEWS and FOXNATION. It does his cause no good when the only place you read about his efforts is on a Pro-Romney site. SOMETHING IS WRONG in the PR AREA! Palin did nothing for McConnell until the day before the election. She records a Phone Message and if you go to FOX NATION, They are ready to canonize her for McDonnell’s victory. Mitt has been campaigning and raising money for these candidates and others, Toomey, DeMint, etc. AND IS GETTING NO MEDIA COVERAGE! Palin BURBS, and it’s front page news. PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING in politics. MITT has to get the word out there and start appearing on media outlets that cater to perspective voters and SUPPORTERS.
I love the title/image combo in this post!
I agree with Bosman and Luke.
I just love how Mitt is sportin’ the same tie in both photos
Bosman, you have a great point – our grassroots supporters need to start swarming the big media outlets; need to get Mitt’s name out there more. Mitt has opted for a strategy of staying out of daily TV interviews so as to not be over exposed – but he is doing a lot of work behind the scenes and needs to be recognized for that effort. He’s too humble to give himself acclaim, so we must do it for him.
That’s funny about wearing the same tie. I would think it might be on the same day, but in looking at how his hair is different, it couldn’t be. The two pictures are a nice combo.
Shows how frugal the man really is.
Aaronius,
There is a fine line being over exposed and UNDER EXPOSED. Palin is OVER, MITT IS UNDER. I frequent Foxnation.com and Foxnews.com. His supporters need to check these sites atleast once a day and PLUG HIM every chance they get. He needs to do MORE HANNITY, O’RIELLY, etc. THIS IS WHERE HIS BASE IS, Not on ABC, CNBC. Sure you need those votes if your the NOMINEE. Mitt needs to get there first. REPUBLICANS WATCH FOXNATION, FOX NEWS need to become HIS MEDIA OUTLETS!
Also, Vote for MITT on BILLORIELLY.COM and VOTE OFTEN!!!!!!!!!
I saw the tie also.. He has his favorite..LOL Packed light perhaps, or is fugal like Cris said. I think Mitt has a plan.. Hopefully, all the paybacks will be overwhelmingly returned when most needed..say 2010 and into 2012!!!!
It’s his good luck tie…. IT WORKED!
