Own a Light Switch? Beware! Obama Poised to Cede U.S. Sovereignty to U.N. on Climate Change

October 19th, 2009 Jayde Wyatt

switch_guard_strapsRemember back in 1997 when the U.S. Senate rejected the Kyoto protocol and then, at the end of his term, Bill Clinton signed an executive order placing America under Kyoto’s restrictions? Do you also recall that when then-President George Bush was elected, he refused to buckle to pressures to ratify the Kyoto Agreement? Bush refused to sign mainly because of faulty global warming science and the adverse effects strict carbon emission guidelines reductions would have had on our American economy. Now, the epic global climate argument will come to a dramatic head December 7-18, 2009. Representatives from 192 countries, with estimates of more than 15,000 diplomats, officials, advisers, proponents, and journalists, will cluster in Copenhagen, Denmark, to attend COP-15 (Copenhagen Climate Change Summit – 15th annual conference). Is Obama poised to cede U.S. sovereignty to the United Nations on climate change?

 Obama clues and cues:

1) Stance on Cap and Trade

2) Refusal to pursue development of America’s off-shore/ANWR oil resources

3) Desire to eradicate the coal industry

4) Billions of dollars earmarked to create ‘green’ energy

5) American Apologetics message to the world and propensity for transnationalism, i.e. the appointment of Harold Koh as the State Department’s top legal advisor.

6) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s statements at Obama’s Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate last March, acknowledging that the U.S. had played a role in past climate emissions. She emphasized that America is  “determined to make up for lost time both at home and abroad” and that “the U.S. is no longer absent without leave.”

7) Obama’s own statements, including global warming comments delivered to the United Nations on September 23, 2009

It doesn’t take a solar-powered crystal ball to determine the position Obama will take at COP-15 this December!

Please watch every minute of this important video Climate Chains – The Global Warming Fraud:

“Energy is what many call the Master Resource. If you control energy, you control everything. Everything we make, use, or do starts with an infusion of energy and requires energy at every step along the way… to the point where you use it.” “Climate change is the perfect scapegoat for environmentalists. A COP-15 Treaty will be used to change the behavior, lifestyle, and standard of living of every single person on the planet.”

Mitt Romney on Cap & Trade – Free and Strong America, Oct 7, 2009

Romney: “President Obama has asked Congress to pass a Cap and Trade program. It will have a devastating impact on families of America and the economy. The plan would raise energy prices on the average American family by $1,761 a year. I hope you’ll join me in opposing this legislation. Together, we need to make our voices heard!”

Among those who disagree with Obama’s position is Lord Christopher Monckton.

Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educating the public about the myth of global warming.

On October 14, 2009, Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

 WARNING!

Lord Monckton on United Nations Treaty to be signed December 2009: “I have read that treaty. What is says is this: 1) A world government is going to be created. 2) Transfer of wealth from countries of the west to third world countries to satisfy ‘climate debt.’ 3) Enforcement.”

cop15gearsThis isn’t about the climate. It’s about international economic control over our lives. As Monckton said, in the next few weeks – UNLESS WE STOP IT -- our President will sign our freedom, our democracy, and our prosperity away forever. I urge you to pass this information to your friends and neighbors. We ALL must contact our legislators and every form of media to STOP OBAMA from signing the COP-15 Climate Change Treaty.

    Jayde,

Great post, excellent use of YouTube videos to reinforce your points.

We are at an inflection point, both domestically and internationally and I agree that we have, literally, just several weeks to turn this situation around to preserve our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

Everyone who views this post….Call, write and email your Congressional delegations and urge them to contact the White House and advise Obama to refrain from signing away American sovereignty.

Thank you, John. We Americans have a very short window to rise to our feet and sound the warning bell! We must POUND the WHITE HOUSE and our legislators NON-STOP – right up to the December moment of decision for Obama. Also, be sure to sign the petition opposing Cap and Trade. Ask your family and friends to do likewise: http://www.globalclimatescam.com/?page_id=560

Once you sign the NO CAP and TRADE petition (see above), your zip code allows forms to automatically pop up which allows you to contact your local rep, state senators, and the White House. It’s an easy way to speak out!

    Do it!

    Update today:
    http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aNwIRPUrtyrs

The U.S., China, European Union and 14 other countries moved closer to agreement on the need for more climate aid for developing nations, on how that money will be managed and on how commitments by developed and developing countries will be reflected in an international agreement, Miliband (Uk Energy and Climate Change Secty) said.

“We know it’s an uphill battle to get an agreement in December,” Miliband told reporters in London, referring to the UN climate talks in Copenhagen. “It’s more doable today than it was yesterday.” He gave no specifics.

Don’t let Obama force America to kneel at the feet of U.N. Climate Change radicals!

Wow, that was unreal. I saw the Lord Monkton speech at a meeting for the Maine Center for Constitutional Studies. Coupled with the climate farce I won’t get much sleep tonight! I’ll be passing this on.

    These are very important issues.

Lord Monckton is right on the money and we need to act against tyranny.
