2008 is now behind us, but it doesn’t have to be a presidential election year for us to make a difference.
I have been actively involved in the public debate over the top issues of the day. Recently, I wrote an opinion piece for The New York Times arguing for a restructuring of the auto industry instead of a government bailout. I’ve also come out in favor of a job-creating stimulus plan with pro-growth tax cuts as its centerpiece. As we move forward into the new year, I will continue to speak out to advance our conservative agenda on the national stage.
In addition, with your support, my Free and Strong America PAC will be actively involved in important races this year and next year. There are gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey, and in 2010 36 state houses will be up, as will one-third of the United States Senate and all 435 congressional seats.
