Christmas Eve 2008, Frosty the Snowman makes a rare public appearance to endorse Mitt Romney for President in 2012. Frosty states as his #1 reason he endorses Romney is because of the economy, noting that he had talked to Santa Claus frequently about the 2012 prospects and that they had mutually agreed that Romney would be the best man. Santa Claus, he states, is very eager to have a much reduced work load saying that he had to work overtime in order to make up for what families couldn’t afford on their own because of the downturn of economical conditions.
Will we see Frosty active on the campaign trail in 2011? “Perhaps,” says Frosty, “I’ll definitely make it to New Hampshire and perhaps Iowa, but I’m gonna stay away from South Carolina and Florida.”

In case you missed these recent appearances, here is a transcript from two of them:
“On the Record” with Romney (Romney also comments on Governor Blagojevich in this segment)
“Meet the Press” with Romney
Don’t miss the great piece by Romney in NRO about action on the economy:
What is Washington waiting for? The inauguration is less than five weeks
away: At the rate we’ve been going, another 500,000 jobs will be lost by then.
The downward spiral is deepening and accelerating: Congress and the president
must act now.
I’ve been mulling the idea for a while, but after having an organized chat at committedtoromney.com, orchestrated by John Cronin, I’ve decided to start-up a forum to help promote Mitt Romney for 2012 and provide a meeting place to help organize supporters and get better acquainted with each other, and to have a healthy political discussions.
The link is http://mittromneycentral.com/community/forum/. Please stop by and register and join the discussion. Er, well the discussions not there yet, because it’s brand new, so help us start it. Invite you friends and other fellow Romney supporters as well.
Thank you and hope to see you there,

There was a funny article this week criticizing Romney’s Free and Strong America PAC for not giving more of the money raised to candidates for office:
Paul S. Ryan, associate legal counsel to the non-partisan campaign watchdog
group Campaign Legal Center, says use of a political action committee in such a
manner “is not uncommon and not illegal, but it is unfortunate and deceptive to tell donors their funds are going to help candidates when,
in fact, a big chunk is used to further the career of the political person who
created the PAC.” [emphasis added.]
Does anyone really think that people who donate to Romney’s PAC intend anything other than that he will use the money to advance his political career? That’s exactly what I want him to do with it.
Romney’s spokesman, of course, pointed out the obvious, “The main purpose of Mitt Romney’s PAC is to enable him to travel around the country on virtually a full-time basis to campaign and raise funds for candidates and to promote policies that will strengthen America.”
Doesn’t the Globe have better things to do? This reminds me of those “Romney Spent Inordinate Amounts of Time Running for President when he was Governor” articles. I can’t remember a single article about Barack Obama neglecting his Senate responsibilities when he was running for President. Keep up the good work Romney!
